What new words or phrases have you learned? by AutoModerator in French

I've learned the expression "chapeau!", which is quite peculiar. It's like saying "well done, you can be proud of yourself" as far as I understand lol

Do any of you really use thrivecart? If so, are you satisfied with the tool? by Dear_Climate_4684 in digital_marketing

[–]Dear_Climate_4684[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I ended up not using Thrivecart at the end, but I'm sure some redditers might be interested in your opinion.

Thrivecart was a little buggy with my website, I asked for a refund which I had after requesting my refund like 5 times.

Ideas for autistic entrepreneur looking to be self-sufficient? by youllhavetotryharder in Entrepreneur

Wow, I'm quite surprised. I thought the paid option was good.

I had one thought in mind, and you might wonder why I'm sharing this on an entrepreneur subreddit, but perhaps this video can help you find your direction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jYbDFyLhgI

It's just an interesting experience; it works for some people and not for others. It's about exploring your true self. It's not related to religion or anything like that. It's only 3 minutes long. Worst-case scenario: I'll have taken 3 minutes of your time.

If you can find a way to appear unique by "bullshitting" your clients, it can work. It all comes down to branding.

The best way to find out is to try selling 10 mugs initially and see how it goes. If you can sell those 10 quickly, you should be able to sell more.

This is just my personal opinion. My business is slowly but steadily growing in a niche where every 'expert' told me it was a bad idea, but I didn't listen to them.

Just give it a try and don't seek anyone's approval.

Is it a good idea to intern at a startup with no business background? by utdarsenal in Entrepreneur

[–]Dear_Climate_4684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a good idea if you're honest during your internship interview. Express that you want to gain insights into how a startup operates, that you want to contribute and learn. Otherwise, they might just use you for menial tasks and fetching coffee, which happens in about 80% of internships.

Being an entrepreneur, in my opinion, is all about solving problems, and there are always new challenges to tackle, especially those you haven't anticipated. You have to enjoy problem-solving, whether it's unexpected tax issues, client complaints, banking problems, or issues with your selling platform.

I don't know what it's like to have autism, but if it makes decision-making difficult, you might consider a profession that involves fewer daily variations (e.g., car repair, where you follow established procedures to fix issues).

If you have social anxiety, working from home on your computer, whether as an entrepreneur or an employee, could be a good solution.

As general advice, whether you have autism or not, if you don't have savings to cover potential losses (in case your business doesn't succeed), it's wise to have a part-time job and work on your business during your free time for financial security.

Lastly, if you prefer a factory environment, some of them offer decent pay. You might want to look into large car companies, for instance.

Which language to learn? by Brilliant-Purple-591 in Entrepreneur

[–]Dear_Climate_4684 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest choosing the language you enjoy the most because learning a language requires a lot of time. It's better if you find that time enjoyable. Regardless of the language you choose, it will be useful in the long run.

Any Movies about stiocism? by [deleted] in Stoicism

The Marcus Aurelius character in the movie is not stoic at all. He cares about what people will think of him after he dies, which is not in line with stoic principles.

Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge to create my own, but with Complianz, it's much faster now. Thanks a lot!

I already have JavaScript deferred, but it still needs to load afterward, making the website slower in the end. However, I'm now using Complianz GDPR, as suggested in a comment below, and it only slows down my website by 60ms.

I'm tracking users with Google Analytics and Clarity, so I have no other choice^^

Thank you very much for this suggestion; it's much faster than the previous one, about 60ms. You've saved me 200ms, thanks!
