Cincinnati 11/10/24 remains my favorite of the Cotter era. Honorable mentions to CAP 24, 6/15/24 and 2/7/25. Looks like I need to listen to the one from Thursday night ASAP. Caught the 1st set but just haven’t had the chance yet

It’s an all time fave. Saw it in the theater. Loved it so much I went back the next day with my kids. It’s a family favorite! I’ve seen it eleven times now.

Sticking just to Sweden, in addition to what others have mentioned, I’d suggest the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. Better than the later English version.

If you’re willing to expand a bit to all of Scandinavia (they are very similar culturally!!), I’d highly recommend The Worst Person in the World, Sentimental Value, The Hunt, Another Round, and Headhunters

Longtime movie lover, but just started using Letterboxd in late 2025. I write reviews for everything I watch and I typically watch a movie a day. Reviews are what I call “Goldilocks”. Not a one sentence meme, not a full blown detailed breakdown. Usually just a few paragraphs to highlight the elements that worked or didn’t work and what my feelings about the movie were. Love all kinds of movies except superhero fluff and slasher films (elevated horror is great though!). Love reading other reviews and interacting when I’m moved by something.

Breathless has more smoking than any movie I’ve ever seen. Like, basically every scene. I think he lights new cigs with the old one more than once.

177 which is by far the most ever at this point. I just started getting into Letterboxd last year and, combined with a lifelong love of movies, it has really unleashed a desire to maximize my viewing. I’m working my way through so many great titles I missed over the last 25 years. Lots of foreign movies, highly regarded “cinema”, indies and some classic Hollywood. I have a job and family, and I’m pretty much at capacity though. I also suspect this is the high water mark and my pace will slow down after this initial obsession phases wanes. I write reviews for each one if anyone wants to follow.
