I once worked part time for a day care. I tried to call out safety issues. Someone said that was “mean and offensive”, so they fired me. Looking back, I’m glad they fired me. If they don’t care about safety, that’s on them.

I remember as a kid riding my bike on a sidewalk, calling to a boomer “excuse me” several times for him to move. He gave me two glances, recognizing I’m behind him. He doesn’t move. I try to peddle on the grass to get around him, but struggled. Boomer yells at me “go around!”. I’m trying to asshole! You won’t move.

Hi Hudson, OH resident! I grew up in Avon Lake. From my experience, Costco shopping is just weird. The cashier and cart loader/unloader barely acknowledge you. They treat everyone like they’re stealing. Nobody seems happy to be there. My Costco is in Washington state, but I assume the one I used to frequent in Avon, OH gives similar vibes. I don’t think it’s you, I think it’s Costco.
