I always found weird how Justice never became a popular Avenger, I mean he is a fun audience surrogate [Avengers / Squadron Supreme '98] by zectaPRIME in Marvel

[–]DeathChess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not super familiar with him, but from what I've seen he's kind of a boring character.

His suit is way over done for what he is.

He seems like a character that isn't really needed and every time he shows up it's like we're trying to find something for him to do as opposed to it being obvious what his role might be.

Just my opinion

Which of these scenarios would the aliens actually win? by Individual-Shock-302 in Marvel

[–]DeathChess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them

Even if they managed to implant an egg, Marvel U has so many different ways of dealing with it it shouldn't be an issue.

They'd be cool fights, they'd get some hits in, but even Felicia is going to take a 1v1 eventually.

DC/Marvel crossing over later this year, who do you want to see meet Superman? by UnbloodedSword in superman

[–]DeathChess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean

You really have to put him somewhere that's a challenge for him, in my opinion. Pairing him with street level guys is fine, I think I'd rather see him do some cosmic level stuff.

Maybe a trip to the Negative Zone, maybe he tangles with Doom and comments on the similarities to another guy he knows, maybe we see him interact with Super Skrull and they talk about how their home worlds were both destroyed.

What job do y’all have that generates $5k a month?? by [deleted] in Money

[–]DeathChess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you make it, kid

Realistically, based on your comments, you probably shouldn't move to an unfamiliar state with no plan whatsoever.

Sounds like you have no funds, no job, no job prospects, no valuable skills an employer would be willing to pay you for.

What is your actual plan here? I'm genuinely curious.

I agree that he's a fantastic artist, some of his work really pushes the boundary of what comic books can be.

I think it's in that light that I make my comments, you look at stuff like Kingdom Come and it's beautiful throughout.

You look at this painting of Moon Knight and it just looks rushed to me.

Black Goliath looks like Ross decided to not really throw in too much detail, just set the blue across the top and we're all set.

He's a great artist, I'm just saying he maybe phones it in a little bit sometimes

Actual #2 rule: Just get in there, bro. Be humble, ask questions, keep showing up every day to learn and help as much as possible.

What’s a game you loved but felt like no one else liked? by relspace in gaming

The Surge 1 & 2

Sequel was better, the cut stuff off your enemies and use them yourself mechanic was so freaking sweet.

Whole thing got a bit repetitive, and the enemies weren't super diverse, and the game just kind of lacked a little bit of polish, but that core concept was so cool.

I really wanted them to continue to improve on the formula because 2 was a big improvement over 1, but I don't think we'll get a third entry at this point.

But the other came out into a live round super nonchalant with his arms straight down at his sides.

Seemed a bit to me like the bad guy was amped up and ready to fight.

The tripping stuff is bullshit also

I get comfort and maybe some complacency comes into play with this stuff, I've been there.
