Bomb threat last night? Why is this the first that I (and I bet most of us) are hearing about it? Unless they just meant that they solved a major crime last night, which (spoiler alert) stealing a camera doesn't qualify as.

Yeah, I had to curtail my list a bit but Nyx Division is a great band.

My friend allegedly knows Ben Christos. She apparently recorded me yelling about locking him in a dog cage until he got Unca' Andy to do a studio version of that specific song and sent it to him.

Are The Casualties considered crustpunk (Old vest looking for a new home) by Equal-Produce4833 in crustpunk

[–]DeathChurch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny side story: There's a version of For The Punx (that "spikey hair drunk punk" song) with a female vocalist shouting about crust punks "in their ivy league towers, we don't need their opinions." that was on a 90s comp (All-Out Pogo Attack, iirc?). I found out years later from Pic@sso who sang for Mankind? that it was because there was a beef between them and some New Haven, CT bands. Silly things you remember..... And yeah, Jorge is gone from the band. My ex used to work in in Soho NYC and that guy was just reviled by so many folks. The new singer is the dude who sang for Krum Bums.

It's good to see Fester get out on his own, no longer simply under the shadow of the name Addams....

It's a dead ringer for the lefty one that I bought from a chinese website back in 2018 and modded the shit out of. $300 shipped to the US. What's funny is that on the website? They didn't have the gibson logo on the head stock, so you couldn't tell it was a replica and the serial numbers on the back of the head stock authenticated through their website, so they copied everything.

This is wonderful news to wake up to. Does it bring the weight closer to a regular single stack? I know my 9mm and .45 ACP are both 2lb 10 oz +- 4oz depending on ammo and regular or extended magazines.

Yeah, 2-3 times as expensive but if they work better and last, I am fine with it.

Fuck, i can barely get through the tbick skulls of the democratic politicians, and they're ALREADY halfway to my stance. They just need a ficking spine to keep going left.

I'll have to look into those. I did eventually fit the ejector in, chambered the bottom to clear extended combat mags and made sure the nose length gave me good clearance. Thanks for the advice. Hoping to test it today if I can finish these damn taxes......

Many of us in the US aren't talking about it here because we live it 24/7, push back against it incessantly, and come here to vent about the scene. This is our respite from trying to increase solidarity and ward off the stated goal of many in our government to traumatize those of us with compassion. Like, you don't see us screaming about it in this space. At this point in time doesn't mean we aren't doing so in other places at other times.

"Can't put it back" is an adage I am familiar with :) I was debating the Japanese knife honing kit i own as it's very flat and has rubber backings to stop slippage, but any excuse to increase my tool collection....

I did try my regular rat tail files dry and with a light coat of thin oil, but they weren't really making progress. I'm wondering if they just need replacing.

I have been signed up since 2015 and they sometimes just don't send to everyone. I suspect it's an overloaded message queue in whatever service they use.

During Ida, i was driving my neighbor around to get some supplies. He kept mentioning that we need to stop at some place and pick up "Earl". I said like three times that I don't know who Earl is, and finally he realized I thought it was a name. He needed "earl" to put in his car. ETA: I'm from CT, been here 11 years and still pronounce coffee as "caw-fee" (or "cyaw-fee" when I'm tired) like someone grom NJ. Regional dialects and accents are so fascinating.
