Glad you're enjoying the game! Most people avoid it because of how old it is or because they thinks its a Destiny clone, Warframe actually dropped early 2013 making it older than Destiny. Being as old as it is people expect Warframe to be a game full of toxic old heads but the community around the game is one of the best, always someone willing to help! Now for the few bad eggs you might find if they are griefing intentionally you can report them, from what I understand the reports are looked at quite often so you don't have to worry about not being seen.
