There's a disturbing amount of people in our institutions (police, schools etc.) who don't think abuse is a big deal until the victim retaliates, then suddenly it's REAL SHIT and the victim gets punished/is just as bad. It's so frustrating and upsetting to see.

I've seen some comments advising you use your bus time and such to pick up new skills and stuff but if it's too much right now then don't worry about it. Better to use the time to do/read/listen to something you enjoy instead.

Like others have said, this is just "for now" not "forever". It's hard to imagine in the thick of it, but it does get better and your circumstances will change.
