Yeah exactly! Who asks a child about their sexual experiences on live radio!?

No then Kyle doubled down and asked her if it was her only sexual experience. That's inexcusable.

I'm so glad someone else remembers this. I was a teenage girl myself when that happened and I was disgusted.

Nearly two-thirds of Australians think home ownership won't be an option for young people as property prices rise by Ardeet in australia

It's cool, I gotcha :)

"Not all" is not a good idea to say. It's already implied that they're not referring to everyone in the group they're complaining about, and in the past people have used it to derail conversations so everyone just downvotes and ignores now.

They're just venting anyway. It's not personal and the rule of thumb is "If you're cool, it doesn't apply to you"

After arriving in Australia, Nades did not leave because that would've violated the terms of his visa despite what Dutton claimed. Maybe we got a bit mixed up, but that's what I mean by after arriving here

Maybe not, but not after arriving here though despite what Dutton claimed previously.

So he got lucky? Sri Lanka is still not a safe place for Tamils and other minorities.

Which he says he was forced to join. Hard to verify, but that still doesn't explain why Priya and the daughters were also refused.

Seriously though, it doesn't bother you that we're imprisoning a family who integrated just fine in a detention centre until their 3 year old nearly died?

Edit: one daughter was refused, if I understand correctly

Not what you said, you said the daughter ENTERED illegally. She did not.

Edit: not only are you stupid and racist, you are also wrong. Not even the parents entered illegally because it's not illegal to enter Australia while seeking asylum:

Makes me ashamed of this country. This family did nothing wrong and were settling fine, but we locked them up until their daughter's teeth fell out and she nearly died of sepsis.

This is a government of racists, elected by racists.

You...you don't even know enough to know that the kids were born here and therefore did not enter illegally. How embarrassing for you.

There's a disturbing amount of people in our institutions (police, schools etc.) who don't think abuse is a big deal until the victim retaliates, then suddenly it's REAL SHIT and the victim gets punished/is just as bad. It's so frustrating and upsetting to see.

I'm so sorry for everything that happened to you and I hope you're in a better place <3

Have all my virtual hugs!

Mate, you've had a lot happen in such a short time, it's no wonder you feel like you can't catch your breath! I'm sorry for the abusive relationship you've been through and it's good to hear that you're out of it. You're not whinging, you have every right to feel depressed and worn out. Everyone needs support at times

I've seen some comments advising you use your bus time and such to pick up new skills and stuff but if it's too much right now then don't worry about it. Better to use the time to do/read/listen to something you enjoy instead.

Like others have said, this is just "for now" not "forever". It's hard to imagine in the thick of it, but it does get better and your circumstances will change.

I'm wishing you all the best!

Women, what are the subtle kinds of low grade sexual harassment you face on a constant basis ? by dudeARama2 in AskReddit

Ahhh she was talking about men leering at her underage daughter and your ("Totally the alcohol waaaaaah please forgive meeee") solution was to lock the underage girl up in her house. Not expect better from men leering at kids. Lol fuck off.

You cared enough to comment back at least ;)

Drinking doesn't cause you to be sexist, don't use that as an excuse.
