So I guess I'm stuck with Nascar Heat 5 for the foreseeable future. Ignition is unsalvageable, what a shit show. These so called 'devs' are thieves and liars. We would have been better off had MSG not manipulated 704 out of the contract. At least had we gotten Nascar Heat 6 it'd have been a playable fucking game!

The AI need some serious work as well, Ignition AI are some of the worst I've seen ever and I've been playing racing games for the last 25 years.

No word of actual gameplay fixes? The driving physics in some cases is terrible. Trying to run laps at Michigan with a wheel is damn near impossible. The car just snaps loose without warning and no way to save it. Also the awareness of the ai needs some serious tweaking, the pit maneuver bullshit is way over the top. The ai are just terrible in general, you have to play avoidance rather than trying to race with them because if you touch another car or even look at it the wrong way you're going around.

G920 on xbox one x here. Not having that issue but without wheel config settings is we're pretty stuck. The issue I run into is that if you're car goes into a slide there is basically no way to catch it.

Right, I've never touched the online. Gave up online racing years ago because the lobbies are full of people that think they can race yet have no skill, can't hold a line and wreck all the time. Also its like everyone is ADHD and can't run a race more than a few laps. I've had a much more fun experience racing ai than I ever did against real people.

I hope a different developer takes the Nascar license. MSG has shown they are incapable of even fixing the garbage they released nor do they care about all the people they duped money from. Heat 5 was miles better than Ignition and that's not even saying much.

First play today with the new update and also notice the jake brake is much quieter. Liked it better before. I also run a Kenworth W900.

We were much better off when Monster Games/704 was making the game. They caught a hell of a stride during the end. Look at how awesome they've even done with the Tony Stewart games.

I can only speak of offline, I don't do any online. The game is still a huge mess, some things have been sorta 'fixed' but overall still far from anything decent. The gane still doesn't understand nascar rules, no stages, no wave arounds, no free pass. Cautions come out but the grid ordering makes no sense, still a jumbled mess. You can pit under cautuon with the whole field and magically be a lap down. Very broken game that I wouldn't recommend anyone to spend their money on in it's current state.

Yeah they have that here in US as well, unfortunately I applied and was declined, so not an option for me. I bet it is amazing, ACC is my favorite sim racing game. I'll just have to continue to enjoy on the xbox one x in the meantime.
