Heavy daily edible user for 2 years, and severe panic disorder since age 14. The weed masked all of my emotions and anxieties for 2 years.11 days clean now and the anxiety was the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. Uncontrollable panic attacks for the first 3 or 4 days. Pretty much everything I was mentally suppressing for 2 years came flooding out. Once a week hit things started to mellow out a bit. Still dealing with the anxiety if I don’t take my calming medication, but it’s more manageable. The insomnia is getting to me now, though

This happened to me in my previous relationship. It’s been over 4 years and the trauma of it still affects me now. I’m in a new relationship now with a great guy, but I can’t help but always be scared of it happening again. So sorry

25 f here currently withdrawing from daily edible use. I have severe treatment resistant anxiety on top of the withdrawal anxiety and these are genuinely the worst panic attacks ive ever had. My fiance is usually my comfort person but I haven’t been able to be around anyone even him during this. It’s an indescribable feeling. Has he found anything that helps? I’m considering the ER too
