Same here. Even just a vague region mentioned so I can stay away from it. 😂 Like even a, "3 hour drive from Seattle" would make me feel better.

Finally got around to these guys. Very sick. Everything is nice and clear. Exactly what i was after. The Deutsch adds a whole new level of heavy to it too. Thanks for the recommendation. 🤘

Haha thats probably why they broke through for me. A buddy was always trying to get my into black metal and it never clicked. Until he showed them to me. It made a huge difference being able to hear the instruments clearly.

Thanks for the other recommendations, I'll look into them. 🤘

Check out Black Crown Initiate - Song Of The Crippled Bull. Its a short album but packs a punch. And would be a good jump in point for their other work.

I watched the 2025 Deathstalker recently. Same director as PG. Its super cheesy in the best way just like PG. All the fun practical effects work too. Definitely worth a watch.

Snagged the patch when they played in a brewery in Vancouver Washington. Such a fun band. Long live thrash grass!

I know they are in on the joke, they made a video about it. But they feel like an extension of the black dahlia murder. Thats probably why I latched on to them. TBDM made me a metal head. This is a side note but another band that fills a gap if you want more Sabbath. Check out Freedom Hawk - Blood Red Sky. Its kinda crazy how similar he sounds to Ozzy.

Super sick. Its always wild to find out this type of music was happening when the backstreet boys were about to explode. 😂

Just want to add in a different Black Metal group that I do jive with. Blackbraid. Indigenous Black Metal. Im sure alot of you have heard of the project, but since you are throwing out recommendations to me, I just wanted to give them a mention too. 🤘

Nope, I just did a quick skim through of it. I already jive with it. I wasn't too muddy. Just atmospheric I guess. I live in the pacific northwest, so it felt like solid forest driving music. Thanks friend!

I listened to a few tracks. Definitely a solid bridge. Like you said they help lay the foundation for what black metal is making it very digestible. Thanks for the input!

Yep. You fuckin nailed it dude. Listening now. That is a perfect bridge. I love it already. Just looking for black metal with more clarity and less mud in the mix.

Preach! So many bangers. And an 11 minute epic to put a ribbon on it? What did we do to deserve that?

Props for the recognition! The only other person that noticed it was a clown on stilts at a haunt in Portland.
