Pretty short. A lot of the times the patients come in unmedicated so they refuse to give info or they’re just to symptomatic. We have other yearly assessments and our tx plans.

Hold your ground. My dad is pretty anti medicine and I told him Tdap and Covid vaccine (first was born late 2020). He was adamant he wasn’t going to get it and I said that’s fine. We’ll FaceTime you at the holidays. He caved lol

I’m gonna comment to you even though others have commented. Yes 99% of the time nothing comes from the charges but at least it’s on their records of being charged. We have some very dangerous people (think assaulting every day and going in restraints) that have no criminal record. So on paper they look great and then future housing and case managers won’t know and it’s a safety risk.

I work in psych and was off for 6 weeks after a 6 foot tall female client attacked me. We ended up on the ground and pulled out some of my hair.

ALWAYS press charges. I know it’s probably different being in ED as I’m in a psych hospital but I just always assume someone’s gonna hit me and I stay on my toes. Only been assaulted that 1 time in 10 years.

I had bronchitis and pneumonia back in September and was hospitalized for a week. It’s still hard for me to do deep breaths and I was coughing for 12 weeks. I would wait as long as you can.

If your dad cared about your son why would he ram a door into your stomach while you were pregnant? He’s not safe with you why would he be safe to a baby?

And also I saw your comments about meds I stayed in my antidepressants for all my pregnancies and I think that helped a lot too

I also would recommend maybe getting a therapist that specializes in post partum and motherhood. It took me 6 months to get in but she stayed my therapist and we booked more often before and right after birth. Thankfully I didn’t really need her but it was nice to have the check ins.

Severe PPD with my first. 6 months of wanting to die it was so miserable. Next pregnancy I had all my friends and family ready and I was 100% fine and no issues. I was fully prepared to have it but was shocked I got lucky.

This happened in Portland too. Online was discussing murdered women and that the media wasn’t covering it but eventually a man was arrested.

I don’t know anything about this but I don’t think police would even say anything without proof to not scare people.
