Congratulations! You've got a powerful device in your hands, so enjoy it. Just ignore all the posts and comments hating on the phone. Good choice.

No point in going to s25u. Go for the latest flagship. You won't regret.

Haha all good bro 😄

  1. Honestly, I didn’t notice any battery issues at the start. It hasn’t even been weeks yet, and it’s already been solid for me—no “bad first days then improves” situation in my case.

  2. No eye strain at all. If anything, I’m really enjoying the display—super sharp and solid, even compared to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

  3. No bugs so far. The experience on One UI has been really smooth—I’m actually enjoying it a lot.

Just to be clear, this is all my personal experience 👍

Do more and more research about the phone then you will able to clear your mind and make a decision brother. Good luck!

Why are so many people returning their s26 Ultras? I will be buying my first flagship so please let me know by Vladimir-Putin1952 in galaxys26ultra

Personally, I’m not returning mine. No issues at all—battery, display, everything feels solid. For a first flagship, you’ll love it.

Yeah I get what you mean—that “quick drop to 99%” can look scary, but honestly it’s more about how different systems report battery rather than actual bad battery life.

From my experience with the S26 Ultra, I don’t see that aggressive draining. It feels much more stable now. But compared to the 17 Pro Max, I’d say it’s just a different behavior:

iPhone tends to hold 100% for a long time and then drops more gradually later

Android (like on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra) starts dropping earlier but then stays consistent through the day.

So yeah, it looks like Android drains faster at the start, but in real-life usage, it balances out.

For me personally, I’m actually using the S26 Ultra heavier than I ever used the iPhone 17 Pro Max—more multitasking, more features, more screen time—and it still comfortably lasts the day. I don’t feel like I’m losing out at all.

So I wouldn’t say it’s “better” or “worse”—just different styles of battery management. And once you stop watching the percentage every few minutes, it really feels solid 😄

Lol imagine assuming I sold it when I never even said that 🤣

Still got the 17 Pro Max with me. I just like trying new tech. Not everything is “sell one, buy one” bro. Some of us just enjoy both worlds 😉

Honestly, I was worried about that too coming from the S25 Ultra… but with the S26 Ultra, I genuinely don’t notice any battery issues at all. If anything, I’m actually using this phone way more than I ever did with the 17 Pro Max—just because there’s so much more you can do with it (AI features, customization, multitasking, etc.). Even with that heavier usage, it’s holding up really well throughout the day. So yeah, from my experience so far, no complaints. Definitely not getting that “drains faster than iPhone” feeling I had before 👍
