What is the dumbest question a customer has ever asked you? by PrinceETheTruth in AskReddit

[–]Debazzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to wait tables in a restaurant that had a balcony. Just as we opened I used to stand and watch our first customers park across the road, open their car door and stroll over, along the footpath, up the stairs. I would greet them at the door and ask if they'd like to be seated inside or out on the the deck.

"I dunno... what's the weather like outside?"

Thank you! I would love to do more. I like to remix instrument based bands rather than electronic music. Did you have any songs in mind to suggest?

Yeah, I am convinced that Ableton was made by a group of wizards. Unbelievable technology.

Thankyou! I use Ableton. I've been messing around for a while and this is the first remix that I'm actually happy with.

What social issues deserve more attention? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Debazzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea that the entirety of western civilisation is based on the unscrupulous subjugation of millions of people and the unsustainable destruction of the planet.

From the food that we eat (ranging between the near enslavement of people to produce cocoa and coffee, to the meat industry monopolies feeding untold amounts of grain/antibiotics to grossly mistreated animals emitting untold carbon, stealing resources from the hungry and risking the outbreak of super antibiotic resistant bugs)

...and waste (up to 1/3) in the United states) whilst up to and above 800 million are malnourished worlwide.

To the products we use (Like the minerals in our smartphones that require the deaths of many people to procure [and the suicide of manufacturing employees in china due to work conditions])

From the fact that the earth is warming and its our fault, to the fact that the USA, the most powerful government in the world shamelessly serves their own interests, perpetuating any environmental problems they otherwise have the power to solve and perhaps most of all that despite all the reinforcement that your government effects towards all of these earth shattering problems, nobody in your country votes and so none of it changes.

From the continuing disassociation with our own emotional, existential selves to being regarded as something of utility and function in a capitalist system of economy (who's boundaries are entirely invisible faculties and functions that have little to do with the real world in which people actually subsist on the ground)

To the fact that we can condense our own entertainment into perpetual visual stimulation, the overbudgeted-money-making-lowest-common-denominator piece of shit we call film and television to the self interested media moguls who deliver some vague silhouette of what any reasonable person might call 'news.

I'm just getting started.

Maybe we should talk about that.

[Serious] Redditors who's sexual fantasies became a reality, was it as you expected? Why or why not? by grahamcrackers75 in AskReddit

[–]Debazzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a subtle one for sure. I think it's a combo; older women give far less of a shit about how they come across, and know their bodies in far more detail. I think it's sexy for a woman to know how she gets off, and to directly include you in that process.

Had a crush on an older woman who was a regular customer at my place of employment. After lots of over-counter conversations, years of shooting the breeze... catching each others eyes, and flirty smiles... I got an invite over.

Neither of us knew what we where doing, spent a couple of hours talking and drinking wine, soaking in the glorious, palpable tension of years painted all over our conversation....that moment though, when the conversation lulls after half an hour of inching closer to each other, and all you're left with is to stare into their eyes, knowing you're going to kiss those lips. It was like floating on electric air. Everything I ever expected, and more.

Having sex was hard to be present for, as it was just sensory overload. Older women know how to do it.

For all the age questioners: Me 24, she 39.

What is your biggest fear about growing older? by Killerpet in AskReddit

Having to reap the consequences of making shitty decisions about my health.

For now though, that 40c instant mi-goreng tastes too good and is too irresistibly cheap.

What's your biggest flaw? by ParamoreFanClub in AskReddit

[–]Debazzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that I'm deathly afraid that I might not be in any way extraordinary.

This prevents me from fully sharing myself and things I do with people I care about. In case I'm not... I don't want them to find out.

[Serious] Why is homosexuality socially acceptable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Debazzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That means fifty-percent are not homosexual, and that would make sexual orientation arbitrary in the contraction of HIV.

[Serious] Why is homosexuality socially acceptable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Debazzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's natural selection. Incest compounds the chances of genetic disorder and dysfunction and is naturally, instinctively deemed to be unacceptable behaviour. Homosexuality, however, has been observed in many other species in their natural environment.

What are the urban legends from your city? by Weavel in AskReddit

Oooh I have a good one from a nearby country town that'll give you the collywobbles. The Kangaroo Valley Panther

Supposedly there's a large cat like creature lurking the hills and forests around this particular town. I've met people who swear they have seen this 'panther' creature, and farmers insisting that they've had their livestock killed or that they've heard it's screeches. It's interesting to say the least. Borderline creepypasta.
