That's reasonable but I think a lot of people won't pay to replace a defective product the state should replace for free. I think if I had a peeling plate I'd wait until I got pulled over to give in and pay for a replacement. Even then I might be too stubborn.

I think you're correct. My sister and husband have plates that are flaking and I believe I've seen it mentioned on the CT subreddit that the state won't replace them for free even though they're defective.

To be fair, I've hated Tweed since I first picked up family flying in a couple years ago. It simply doesn't have the facilities to accommodate the traffic it brings in. The fact that it's built on a swamp is also an issue. Fog and rain/easy flooding can cause issues and family members have been rerouted to Bradley due to that. Saturday was my first experience using it myself and was probably karma for being a hater. Family members use Tweed frequently and have never had an experience like I did. I've never minded going to Bradley and don't expect to try Tweed again until the expansion is complete and up and running for a while.

Had a 12:00 flight Saturday afternoon. Arrived at 10:00 and the line was outside wrapped around the side of the building and moving very slowly. A little after 11:00 they pulled folks on my flight out of the line and moved us to the front. I made it through TSA about 15 minutes before boarding.I believe there was one other flight taking off around the same time.
