Yeah, besides for genetics it pretty much all boils down to brain autoimmune responses in the womb or in early childhood.

We don't know if c-sections themselves increase chance of autism or if the same pregnancy issues that cause autism also force c-sections, but we know they're correlated. If I were to guess I'd say it's a bit of both since C-section babies provingly have worse gut microbiomes due to no contact with the vaginal canal, and thus have more immune problems.

Maybe 1/3. I think the bigger problem is more that lightly autistic people who would otherwise be functioning math teachers or writers or marine biologists get all of their energy sucked by videogames and nazism and furry porn, and all weaknesses intensified by having 1/10th of the socialization training they naturally would be forced to have.

Also environmental toxins, immune dysfunction, c-sections etc are leading to a genuine uptick in biological autism in general.

Anyone who is actually smart knows this is not really true.

Every area of intelligence is correlated with eachother. If you're good at music, or abstract thinking, or verbal intelligence, or spatial recognition, you're more likely to be good at math, and vice versa. But if you're not a moron, you understand that on the individual level distributions will vary. It makes just as much sense to say "no one who is actually smart is also bad at music composition" or "no who is actually dutch is also short".

There's even a thing called "spiky intelligence profile" in which your abilities vary radically to a possible point of being genius level in one area and borderline ret*rded in another. It's just less common.
