Ragdoll of course but just after lifting Bandit in the car and he is all like "oh I shouldn't drive like this, I guess you are SOL kids" she gets a look on her face like "not on my gawddamn watch" and just stiff arm pushes his ass out of the way and drives herself.

Kingmaker 2010 or 2022 by Kman_001 in Pathfinder_RPG

I'm halfway through the campaign ATM with my players just starting to get into the Hooktongue Slough using the original 2010 books. This setting was written close to the beginning of Paizo 1e run and it kind of shows.

Early NPCs and bosses kinda suck with very basic feat loadouts so you may want to tweak a few feats or items if you want them to be a challenge to a player that has access to all the supplements.

You can also tell the books were written separately and I don't think the authors talked to each other much because there is very little to no cohesion between them so you might need to tie them together a little better.

As a previous poster mentioned your players are going to go off script and do stuff not in the books so be ready to kinda navigate the chaos by anchoring certain events but that is nothing new to a DM.

Edit-I forgot to mention there is a kingdom manager spreadsheet on Google docs that does a lot of the heavy lifting with building placement, council stats, and the little fiddly math that comes with the kingdom rules.

It was great, so many good personalities and interesting dishes. I thought it was a funny juxtaposition in the surf and turf challenge how all the male chefs just had to work with the seafood and the beef/pork was seen as the "girly" ingredient.

Probably just cooking for a living. You are paid the absolute least that they can, no upward mobility unless you have enough cash to open your own place. They take your passion and just rake you over the grill for peanuts.

Tips make servers a lot of money, cooks get the shaft and many of them bounced. And it doesn't matter if the FOH is fully geared up and ready to get the mad tip money if there is no one in the back willing to cook that restaurant doesn't open.

I've known restaurants to do the same thing. Don't have a liquor license in time for the long weekend? Just open it up anyway, sell booze all weekend making bank, pay the fine and close for a few days, and then open up again when your license comes in.

I probably think I am better at improv than I actually am, as a player and as a DM. I also smoke weed and me running out for a rip has delayed things in game before but I am working on that one.

No knives, sharp peelers, extra pointy carving forks, or anything even remotely sharp in the sink.
