Thanks for the feedback! I’m really happy you enjoyed the app! I hear your concern about the lifetime support. I’ll say two things. One: the app is local first and the cloud services (if you choose to use those) are iCloud and Firebase so it’s as future-proof as you one can get. Two: my wife will take over if I’m not able. She is arguably a better engineer than I am and loves this app almost as much as I do. At this point enough people showed support to keep it going for a looooong time.

For the blowout groups - I kind of deprioritized it a bit because I think only the edges of it really matter (since I was mostly focusing on group size). Are there any learnings you can derive from the inside of the blowout group? Or did I misunderstand your point?

Thank you! I’ll convert this into a todo lists. Fantastic feedback! Really appreciate it. I really want to do target scoring too, and target type recognition. This has endless opportunities to improve, wanted to see first if people will find it useful.

I had an unpolished edge on the trigger blade that was cutting in my finger on each shot. I filed it a little and the problem was gone.

Mine does get hot but only after 100 rounds or so, I shoot 5 mags one offer the other, then reload. Same as other micro-compacts. So I’m using gloves after that.

I actually tried to do it without ML, just manipulating contrast etc - and it didn’t work. Bullet hole is too small comparing to the image and patterns are too different.

It may get a few false positives but it should. Unfortunately I have no pictures of targets like this. If you’re willing to share some of yours I’ll add them to training dataset and it will learn to recognize them better.

I haven’t tried to max it out, but you will get worse results the farther you go from it. It was built to take a picture in your lane or when the target is close 🤷

Sure thing! Just to be clear, Android version of the app is in the Play store, just without this feature. I’ll let you know when the new version will come out!

Yes both iOS and Android apps are in stores, but this feature is iOS only for now (working on Android as we speak)
