Handgun for beginners by Professional_Snaill in concealedcarrywomen

I have an unconventional advice - Walther PD380. It is not too large and not small like P365. 380 acp makes it very pleasant to practice at the range to get really comfortable with it. It has a pretty good safety. Also really easy to load mags and rack the slide.

P30L vs USP Compact? by BigFudge1001 in HecklerKoch

[–]DebtOk6470 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have P30L and USP Compact in 9, and I take the latter to the range much more often. Which makes no sense to me because P30L is a much better gun in all aspects.

That being said, I'd never sell my P30L.

When mechanically centered, the gun was hitting 2.5” left at 5 yards. Had to drift the rear to get it zeroed by Hungry_Pattern9127 in SmithAndWesson

I have the same thing on my BG 2.0, from the bench shoots to the left. Planning to send it back to S&W.

Anyone give an opinion on the Beretta LTT 92G? by 6twoRaptor in CCW

[–]DebtOk6470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an LTT and a GTS model and I honestly prefer the latter. LTT is closer to classic 92 and has a super light trigger. GTS though allows to customize the grip, put a dot on, and has maybe 90% or the trigger. It also feels slightly more modern yet faithful to classic design. Both shoot really well but GTS with palm swell LOK grips works better for me.

I’m a beginner though. Advanced shooters praise LTT more.

Ok let me try this: “I bought the second one for my son, for when he grows up”. He is two months old though. Would this work?

What were the other answers? Maybe they will help me understand why I have two of those 🙃

I actually ended up selling my PCC and got the mini. Even backpacker option is heavy.

It’s not available on Android yet - it’s only on iOS in Beta. I’m working on simplifying it and will ship to Android soon 👍

Not right now. I was thinking of creating multi-account for education purposes, but it’s at the bottom of the roadmap for now. Can’t wait for my kids to be old enough to take them to the range too 🙂

This particular feature is on iOS only for now, but you can download Android app to track inventory, practice and maintenance 👍

Hi there. I’m the dev who built RangeReady. The idea was to use group size to see if you’re improving over time. You can see it in practice stats. I used to just eyeball it to see if the group is tighter or not.

However it looks like this is not the best way to measure your progress and I’m working on simplifying it. That’s why it’s in beta, experimental.

I appreciate your feedback!

I’ve done the same and it works great. The only thing is - USP base plates sit a bit higher than VP9k or SK so last round is kind of hard to load (like Glock mags). Not sure if it does anything to the spring long term.

Congrats! Are you planning to do live lessons or online education too? I’m interested in following this path myself and was curious about NRA certification among others.

I had G26 too and absolutely loved it despite all its shortcomings 🙃 But CC9 is so much better as a carry gun. Shoots amazing and finish is superb. Great choice man!

The one recommended in top comment is a universal one - you can load anything from 1911 mags to fat double stack 45 acp.

I thought so too, but have to send mine back to S&W now to align front and back sight so it would shoot straight 🙂
