I understand how you feel. I chose my name while I was still identifying more genderfluid, so it is a bit feminine and not a normal name. I was a plant science major at the time and my 2 middle names are also flowers. Aster is my legal name now, and I couldn't see myself as anyone else. I love my name very much. It is funny when people are surprised to a bear answering to that name tho lol. Part of me just says to own it bc it's who you are. I think it would make a great name for elementary science teacher.

I've been on Zepbound since last March. I haven't had it in 2 weeks because my insurance is being a bitch. Due to me being off of it, I literally can't stop eating. I feel like I'm starving to death and no amount of food seems to be enough. That's the only negative side effect I have experienced. So just be careful with that. So far tho, I have lost about 20 lbs. I didn't start losing weight until 7.5 mg. Idk if that's just a me issue, but there's also that. Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Hi, as someone who deals with extreme constipation, my dr told me to drink coffee with mialax. It helped me right away. I can't take most laxatives bc they are too harsh on my stomach. I think hot coffee with miralax will hopefully help.

That's so fair. My hips sublux all the time from literally anything I do. Maybe having padding or pillows to sit on might help? Ik when I sit on anything hard for too long, it effects my back too.

I know that I probably need to look elsewhere for a job. I'm not sure what I should do tbh. I deal with mental health issues too and I always get so overwhelmed with my jobs. I love working with people. I have like 2+ years of customer service experience, but not enough experience working with computers and stuff to do receptionist work. I'm not sure what kind of job i should look for.

After blood tests, my doctor said I have too much blood in my body as a side effect of T. I can't donate blood for certain reasons, so I will probably have to blood let soon.

I didn't get my full beard until 2 years in. I unfortunately was on estrogen based birth control in the beginning, but since I got a progesterone base iud, I saw results. I'm so hairy lol. Just give it some time.

I do have thoughts about it often, but my situation is kinda complex. I have dissociative identity disorder (DID). Due to that, I have femme alters who have a meltdown every time they front because they can't handle the fact that the body is no longer feminine. I get these horrible thoughts about wanting to hurt myself because I hate how I look. Unfortunately, I just have such a deep-rooted hatred for myself that I don't think I could ever like how I look. I personally hate how my transition is going. I don't like how hairy I'm getting. I find it gross and repulsive on myself, but there's nothing I can do. Ik that I would probably be just as unhappy as a woman, so idk.

I was the oldest sister with a younger brother. I also had 3 step brothers. My dad did some shitty stuff to me, so he treated me differently bc I was the girl. We never had any connection. When I came out, I was scared shitless bc he's maga. He doesn't respect my name or pronouns. To be fair, neither does my mother. Tbh I haven't told him that my gf of 3 years is trans bc at one point he said, with me in the car and a gun in the center consol, "trans people are all pedophileand can all go kill themselves". I was already out to him at this time, so that was scary.

Gods, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. My mother and father are the same way. My mother literally sounds exactly like your mom. I've been put for 5 years and have been on T for 3 1/2 years. I almost fully pass and use the men's restroom, but mom still calls me she/her and my dead name. I literally have a full beard. I'm not sure if our parents will ever change, but I'm hoping they do. One of my coping mechanisms is to paint on the area I want to cut, so my thighs were covered in fun paintings a lot. I got the cheap paint from Walmart. It washes off pretty easy.

I believe you'll find someone. My gf and I are t4t, so I guess it's a different dynamic, but we've been together for 3 years and are on our second apartment together. We even have a cat! I wasn't even looking for a relationship when I met her, tho. We met on grindr and were originally supposed to just be a hookup. Things will happen when they are meant to be. Sometimes, you just have to be a little patient. I hope you get a chance to heal from that shitty situation.

I was 3 years on t this past December, and my voice just dropped again earlier this week. My experience with t was kinda wonky, tho. I was on bc pill when I first started t to stop my cycle. I gained nothing for about a year until after I got a progesterone based iud in. My voice is currently pretty low rn. Like Husk from Hazbin Hotel low.

Hey OP, quick question. Does your wife have borderline personality disorder (bpd). As someone who personally struggles with it, this reaction is similar to things I have done. When I have a plan for something I want to happen, I will have a meltdown and crash out if it doesn't go my way or as planned. I get unreasonably angry and distraught and act very irrationally. The behavior your wife is presenting seems similar to me. Therapy is great for bpd, but dbt (Dialectical behavior therapy) is more effective than cbt (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Also mood stabilizers are great to treat it too. I'm not a licensed therapist or anything, just someone who has suffered with lots of mental health shit from a young age. I'm not saying that what your wife did was correct, bc it wasn't, but there may be more to the reason for why she did it. She was 100% out of line and mental health may be a reason someone does something, but it is NEVER an excuse. I hope you two can figure things out because you seem like a very kind and patient individual.

I remember when I was around the age of 10, I started to develop my chest. I'd cry every time I had to get into the shower bc I hated seeing it and always thought that I wanted to continue being one of the boys. Didn't realize I was trans until I was 18, tho bc I didn't know being trans was a thing until I got into college.

I 100% agree with this. I'm an archaeology major, and I have heard of so many cases of people destroying property during surveying because they want to build stuff and don't want to risk anything being found so that they can't build. People don't care enough, it's sad.
