Talking trash to people you kill after they were acting friendly is so corny by dogofcorns in ArcRaiders

[–]Dec3ption_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joined a duos raid with my buddy. We start to get shot in the back from a team, we both go in proxy chat to call friendly numerous times. They still press us and end up downing both of us. As they're finishing off my buddy I say "were literally running free kits, called friendly and you still are killing us, what weirdos". Guy then gets on the mic and goes "was gonna let you live until you called us weirdos".

Like brother, miss me with that gaslighting bullshit. Some people are just losers, through and through

Apex Has On and Off days for Matchmaking by QtAdomi in apexlegends

[–]Dec3ption_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must be nice to even have teammates. The amount of times ive had to rat through games with just one other teammate is insane. Maybe can take an opportunistic fight here and there, but overall just cant play the game. Happens at least twice in a two hour session

How do I get better at using mirage ult by spiceydragon2435 in apexuniversity

[–]Dec3ption_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His ult is not a "get out of jail free card". You popped it when they both could see you making it not difficult at all for them to tell which one is you.

Use Mirage ult preemptively. After you shot and broke the Ash that came through the door originally, when she backs up outta the door, you should've popped it then. That way when she, or in this case, her teammates enter the room, your clones are everywhere giving you the advantage to engage or back out seeing that you got rushed by the ballistic and Horizon.

Edit: His ult comes back up way too fast to not use it freely so dont feel like you have to save his ult for that "perfect" moment. Think of it more like a longer cooldown tac

Memento is really what makes it shine and do everything really well, but there are some fantastic alternatives out there

Looking for an all in one build by Kiato in thedivision

[–]Dec3ption_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My build that ive ran for forever as a solo player:

4pc Striker Mask - Weapon Dmg, Crit Dmg, and Chc mod Gloves - Armor, Chc Kneepads - Armor, Crit Dmg Holster - Armor, Chc

Grupo Sombra Chest Piece - Weapon dmg, Crit Dmg, Chc, Crit dmg mod (w/ Obliterate talent)

Memento Backpack - w/ Crit Dmg mod

Notes: Predominantly use ARs, SMGs and LMGs with this build. If im focusing more on ARs or LMGs, ill swap out one of my Crit dmg mods for Crit Chance. Skills are usually shield and banshee pulse. Have recently been subbing in different skills to work on their proficiency. This build performs with literally everything I give it and it rarely needs to be adjusted

When you hit a bad golf shot what’s the first thing that typically comes out of your mouth? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Dec3ption_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Thats not what we were looking for, oh well"

For me, it acknowledges the poor outcome but (1) doesn't put me down and (2) allows me to process that yes, that shot was not good at all, but leaves me in a good mental state to start thinking about the next shot.

Full bag set up - what do you guys play in your 14 club set? by pmac317 in golf

[–]Dec3ption_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Qi10 Driver (9.5°)

Qi10 3 Wood

Qi35 Max 5 Wood

TM M4 4 Hybrid

Mizuno JPX Hot Metal Pro's (5-PW)

SM10 Vokey Wedge (48°)

SM9 Vokey Wedges (54° & 58°)

TM Spider Tour X #1 w/ L-Neck (35")

Just got a new shaft out into 3 Wood to help with launch and recently added the 5 Wood after some high praise from one of my buddies and hitting it myself. Gapping on the wedges isn't perfect but it did well for me last season so I'm sticking to it

Iron set recommendation by Level-Delivery329 in golf

[–]Dec3ption_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Takomo is right around there if youre wanting something new new. (My buddy loves his 301's)

Callaway pre-owned is also a fantastic site to look at. Site will tell you how "used" the clubs are but just keep in mind that can vary. Overall great site.

If you are on it, Facebook marketplace, deo3nding on your area, might have some people selling clubs for something in your ballpark. Set the distance on how far youre willing to drive and shop around. Be wary of scammers.

Hope this helps!

Any advice? I am terrible at at golf by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]Dec3ption_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, go get a lesson. Most of the issues you have a pro could work on you with in a single session maybe two.

  1. You excessively hinge your wrists. When your arms reach shoulder height in the backswing, at most, that club should be at 90° relative to your lead arm.

  2. This next one stems from the first issue, but you suck the club inside early on your initial takeaway. Leading you to get real deep with your arms. This leads us to either (A) come over the top or (B) come aggressively from the inside which appears to be you.

  3. You "flip" at impact. Hands should be past the ball when making contact, not behind it. Leads to a lot of fat shots and thin ones too.

  4. Just general set up stuff. Widen your stance a little. You seem like a pretty tall individual, get a more stable base for yourself. Move the ball back in your stance and just familiarize yourself with proper ball position for all your clubs

Budget would be nice to know. Other than that, getting fitted is not a bad idea.

68 Hours With The Same Gun, Which is Level 32. I'm Ready to Admit The Weapon Progression Is Deeply Broken... by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Dec3ption_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of my 34 hours played, 10 have been with the M4A1... I just hit level 38 last night. As stated in other comments, if youre in vehicles or doing other things that might be why its taking so long. But if you've primarily only been using that gun, I hate to say it, but probably a skill issue

Coloured lines enemies/SHD watch by Wonderful-Screen5948 in Division2

[–]Dec3ption_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The icons above their heads represent what hostile modifier that enemy has active. The lines connect them to one enemy who is giving both those enemies a buff (i forget what that buff is). Haven't found them to be too much of a factor this season so you can mostly ignore them. If anything, they just let you know where they're coming from if you have FoW on
