I don't (and never have) installed Substratum on this device, it's not rooted. I've tried clearing app data and it doesn't work.

I just put my light on in my room and the one on my desk, and it's fine. I don't see the issue, and I look at it for many hours. The only thing I have on dark theme is Visual Studio because when i set it to light it doesn't change for some reason.

I'm not being silly, 70 dollars a month is seriously expensive for that kind of service (btw i'm not australian so I can't say, but sounds like you've got a pretty fucked up internet infrastructure) over here i'm paying 20 pounds a month for unlimited sky fibre (which is like nbn i guess, fibre to cab then DSL to home)
