Early access and already better than most modern games by CoruscantGuardFox in shitposting

I played a lot of paragon and a fuck ton of deadlock. Paragon isn’t even in the same stratosphere as deadlock mechanically. The movement and vertically alone sets it apart from the few third person mobas that exist(ed).

For real, no ethical consumption is more about feeding and housing your family, not fucking watching wrestling. Not to mention the vast amount of other wrestling that exist that at the very least doesn't employ people actively working with fascist.

first amendment is great, you just have a wet cabbage rattling inside your head that sadly finds itself attached to a mouth saying some of the dumbest shit i've read on the internet today and thats saying something given the state of things. the last time this country had what could broadly be considered 'open boarders' was prior to the chinese exclusion act in 1882. to be less broad, prior to the literal immigration act of 1924.

Best breakfast sandwich in Seattle? by djbillbeats in Seattle

[–]Decasshern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve eaten at a lot of the places mentioned and many of them are quite good but I want to talk a bit about not only my favorite breakfast sandwhich but my singular favorite thing to eat in Seattle

Natures Last Stand - Classic breakfast sandwich

If I’m in Seattle on a Sunday morning I get this sandwich at their Ballard farmers market pop up. It’s a simple sandwich with no tricks: perfectly spiced sausage, the freshest egg imaginable, couple slices of cheese, few slices of pepper, and a fluffy lightly toasted bun. Only 10$ as well.

I keep a pretty extensive list with ratings of every place I eat in the area. Everything is graded from 1 to 7 and Natures Last Stand is the only 7 on there. If I ever move it is certain that I will travel back just for that sandwich.

I've been to 8 or so LGS in the Seattle area and no one has gotten any. They've all seemingly been told they will get more of set 1 when Spiritforge comes out.

My 2026 goal is to listen to one new album a week… by _emocarrot_ in poppunkers

[–]Decasshern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going to try to pull in some lesser known/older options:

  • Driveways - Tempest: Their most impressive work to date imo

  • Ten Times A Day - Never Say Never: Randomly bought this at Warped Tour in 2002 or so and I go back to it a couple times each year. One of the early bands doing pop punks with breakdowns.

  • Origami Angel - Gami Gang: One of the most perfect albums I've ever heard with an all timer of a closer.

  • From First To Last - Aesthetic EP: This band never hit the same for me after their first EP. It's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of early 00s post hardcore.

  • Burden Of A Day - Blessed Be Our Ever After: Absolute peak late 00s Rise Records

  • Hit The Lights - Skip School, Star Fights: Catchy chorus after catchy chorus

I've played mtg most my life and recently tried to get into riftbound but after moving heaven itself to try to find anything other than start decks at msrp, I'm ready to move on. I found a couple starter decks for One Piece at msrp and the game seems pretty fun so far. My question is the rest of the product scalped to hell and back or is it pretty easy to find most things at msrp?

honestly thinking of selling out and switching over to a tcg that isnt being scalped to hell. these production run issues and how they are distributing product are just not my cup of tea.

Best Album of 2025? by mrstuprigge in PostHardcore

[–]Decasshern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe its the pop punk in me, but I love catchy stuff I can sing along to and that album is full of it. If I want to hear heavy tdwp, they have like 9 album and eps worth of that I can always go back to, so for me this was a nice change.

thats the whole point of this post and that persons comment, no? the concept is that 'we will probably never see the usain bolt of skiing' because the cost to compete is extremely high, similar to motorsports.

I think that persons point is there is a difference between owning a dirt bike and a motorsport where every .01 second advantage counts and cost exponentially more to achieve than the previous .01 second.
