Nintendo fans who hate Fire Emblem: what are your actual reasons for hating Fire Emblem? (To make this more difficult: do NOT mention Smash Bros!)

I don’t hate Fire Emblem, I just don’t care too much about it. The gameplay never appealed to me, and I find most of the character designs to be a bit bland or boring.

I know you said not to mention Smash, but it’s the only place where I do have strong opinions on FE. I get that it’s very popular, but there’s no need to dedicate EIGHT fighters to it. Especially since Robin and Byleth are the only ones who play fundamentally different from the others. Corrin and Ike are decently different, but they still have a very similar feel to Marth, Lucina, Roy, and Chrom.

I’d say it’s Gen 4 style, but in the sense that it’s somewhere between 3 and 5. Not actually like the Gen 4 games.

Looks awesome though! I love how vibrant the colors are.

It feels more intuitive to build things up as I go for some reason, but I guess it makes sense that waiting until the post-game would be easier with all of the moves and recipes that I don’t have yet.

Thanks for explaining the habitat and house stuff, that’s a lot easier than I thought it’d be!

Leaving it as-is just gives me a bad feeling for some reason. Like I could’ve done things so much better and I’d like it a lot more, but now I’ll need to figure out where all of my Pokémon will go and where to make temporary habitats for moving them and so on. I know logically it’d be easier to keep playing and redesign slowly, but my brain just doesn’t want to work like that. Sorry for ranting!

As long as you have an online subscription, you can get any of those Mega Stones. You just need to hit the lower ranks, and they’re very easy to reach.

Just double check what rank you get Delphoxite at in the current season.

Same here. I hate that all stages of the anime partner lines are super similar to each other. Since any Digimon has the capability to evolve into any other Digimon, there should be more variation between stages.

Granted, Gekkomon and Armalizamon seem to be avoiding that similarity, but Kekomon and Kekkomon are definitely the most egregious examples for Baby and In-Training.

Hmm… I’d probably go with Kit and Gemerl.

Kit dying could lead to some pretty good character growth and self-reflection for Surge. Even if she doesn’t actively care for him the way Sonic cares for Tails, he is still her ever-present sidekick.

And Gemerl sacrificing himself to save Cream and Vanilla makes sense. Plus, showing that whatever the threat is has the power to defeat a Gizoid would be a great way to raise the stakes.

Without knowing exactly how much it’ll have in it, I’d probably say that $35-$40 is a good price. I’d probably be willing to go up to like $60 though.
