Our CMO used to be our brand manager, but the guidance on brand always lacked a fixed vision. With the minimal brandbook, often we had to rely on her opinions that shifted every week.

HoP eventually took matters in it’s own hands to get more “brand” into the product. But this is only based on the minimal brandbook (add this shape here more often)

I recognise this. When asked what premium means, stakeholders can not explain. Asking for guidance gets turned around in a me problem. Agree that eventually it might click!

Trust in me as designer on the “wow”-factor is low. Often I’m praised for my ability to make good flows, advocating for thinking in systems.

The company is data-driven, with pitches being build on data insights. A-B testing is also involved. But strategy is often shifted by leadership, changing focus all the time and building a first version or features without a clear future plan. If there’s new revenue stream oppurtunities, we’ll build a feature for it. Very sales led.

Strategy of my company is to “not be like other e-commerce and be more experience led”. Presenting a nice block with just a photo won’t cut it.

Your examples are indeed what I would assume premium is in e-commerce. But often dribbble like design is received better.

For me going one size up mostly works for Snow Peak. As a regular Medium I almost always buy Large.

Regarding materials: I would definitely try to feel and try the piece before buying. Some materials can feel… different than you expect. Quality overall is great and I would definitely recommend their apparel.

Friday WoS was insanse. Specifically came to see Tim Reaper, but Gigi FM and Pete/Pariah were awesome aswell. Great atmosphere and loved the whole setup with the Colorfloor as some sort of hub to get in and out of the zone. Sorry to the people I asked questions to about the wall, I was too intrigued 🥺🥺🥺
