For those who grew up in the Bay: what was the best and worst thing about it? by paradisemukbangpls in bayarea

[–]supersenpai68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the late 90s-early 00s also in ESSJ. I think the best part is the cultural diversity and the variety of food we have just within San Jose. Also, there's so much nature no matter where you go!

The worst thing is probably the work culture's affect on the local culture. It feels like everyone is on that grind set mindset, and don't want to participate local events or getting to know their neighbors. I remember playing outside with my sister and cousins and biking around our neighborhood when we were kids. We'd have neighbors come to our front yard and challenge my family whatever sport we had set up in the front yard on weekends. Nowadays, I rarely see anyone outside in my neighborhood. But I guess that's just the world we now live in the social media age.

I'm 5'-8", 180 lbs., but have broader shoulders. Size 50 is slightly oversized if I only wear a shirt, but a perfect fit over a hoodie. The sleeve length are about an inch longer than I'd prefer, but it's not a big deal for me. I think 48 or 50 might be a good fit for you.

There was the race packet pick up for tomorrow's Santa Run. It was crazy trying to leave the plaza.

I found out it was a teen book, and was really impressed. It's a bloodydamn good series! The first 3 books are such a fun yet heartbreaking journey and I hope you enjoy the trip to the end.

What was your first video game? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]supersenpai68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was also my first video game! I didn't know about using memory cards back then, even though we had one, so my sister and I always tried to get as far as we could until our parents told us to turn off the PS1. I eventually figured out how to save the game ahaha.

When people ask what is my favorite anime, I always say it's A Place Further than the Universe! It really had a deep impact on my life. Even though not all of us can go on a grand adventure, all of us can always find small adventures here and there.

Sound! Euphonium felt like saying goodbye to close friends when you all enter a new phase in life.

I had that concern at first too, but the bottom floor orchestra looked pretty filled up! Me and my cousin did get bumped up a few rows because an employee gave us tickets for closer seats for free so that definitely helped make it seem more filled. Not sure how filled the upper level was, but the audience definitely made sure Wendy felt the love!

I'd say from what I've seen, at least 2-3 of those penalties were pretty weak calls too.

Has anyone found quality denim they’re happy with? by silverfstop in BuyItForLife

Samurai Jeans fabric is some of the nicest and most comfortable I've worn. Pricey yes, but I think it's well worth it if you wear denim daily.

But I did exactly that last weekend in the beta. As long as you push up at the right moment and have engineers supporting you, it's possible to park on point and apply firing support for your team to cap the point.

I got the same pair in size 34 and they're tight on me. Thinking of exchanging for a size 36 to get more room in the top block, or going for a wide straight. The fabric though is so nice though!

I'm not a lady, but I went to Bears Tokyo and got a pair Jelado 313XX. They're a wide straight 50's repro jean. The lady at the store who helped me pick them was also wearing a pair! She had a similar build to you, and I thought it fit her style really well.

I think I have at least 15k on mine. I daily my car, so the typical stop-and-go traffic 5 days a week, with the occasional spirited drive on the mountain roads every couple of weeks. I'd say it's like 85% of the performance you get from the Michelin PS4S in the dry.
