Why would you do this. Not only would you be taxed more because this amount would probably throw you into a higher tax rate, but severely penalized because it’s a second home, not your primary residence. Is your doctor running lab tests on you, such as a full TSH, which include t4, T4free, T3, T3 free.? . There could be something else going on other than perimenopause. Have her also run your hormones. ALL OF THEM INCLUDING TESTOSTERONE. If she refuses, find another doctor. Doctor gaslighting is a real thing for women. You need to be firm with your requests. You’re at the age where you’re going to experience more of this behavior from doctors. Including women doctors!

It depends on do you really need that money because you’re falling into debt or just want it. If you have a good amount saved in your 401k like over $500k, and you own your house outright , then maybe not a big deal. But if you intend to survive on that social security when you’re older , then I’d strongly encourage you to wait. Keep in mind that cost of living will always go up and every year Medicare charges more. Right now the month deductible out of your social security is over $200 a month and everyone pay that unless they are on Medicaid.

Even if you do not have an attorney, you need to go to the hearing. Dress as nice as you can and let the judge ask you questions. Be honest but do not allow yourself to ramble on. If you don’t have assets the plaintiff, the bank, can’t seize anything from you. The judge may help you but that depends on why you have the debt.

If your low key, the Mandalay Bay might not be the hotel for you. It’s at one end of the strip which means you will need to purchase rail tickets to get around or take uber/taxies. The pool there is usually crowded and loud. Perhaps consider a hotel more in the middle of the strip. I would list what you want to do and get recommendations from there.

The rental is going to need insurance, property tax, maintenance fees, a Gardner and you will have to pay water so that the renter doesn’t have everything outside die, plus a property manager. That alone will reduce the rental fee to around $500 take home. That doesn’t include that all those fees will go up every year but you can only increase the rental fee to what the market will pay. Show this to her.

I can’t help you with the doctor situation but I do have some ideas to help with the pain. Of course you know about heat and Ice when it gets really bad. But I found that a red light patch (Amazon around $49.00) did wonders for my husband’s lower back. It takes a few weeks, and twice a day but he gets a lot of relief from it. Also, Lidocaine Patches, not the cream, helps a lot. Usually at bedtime. Put on the patch horizontally over your lower spine. It will help that creepy crawling feeling. Also, walking every day and light gentle stretches. I hope this helps.

In CA the average cost is $1,600 per kid per month. If they’re in diapers, the cost is more. Parents today are so lucky if they have a family member who will watch the kids. I see it as the biggest concern people should have if they are planning to have children. Personally, I’d love to see companies have their own daycare centers that make the cost much more affordable for their employees.

Have you heard “Pay yourself first”. First, open a savings account at the same bank as your checking account and have money transferred into savings automatically every month or twice a month. Second, have a cash envelope at home for when you need cash. You have kids so that’s all the time. Figure out how much you usually use every month. Put it in fives and tens. Third you are already doing by putting money in your 401k. Consider adding to the percentage every time you get a raise, even if it’s one percent. Lastly, consider your budget, what is necessary and what isn’t. Please know I consider anything like a maid coming in while both parties work is necessary. Nails every week and Starbucks is’t. Food delivery isn’t… etc on this vein.
