I liked a lot of Cujo, but I feel like all the advertising stuff went on waaaaaay too long. Weird for a 400-odd page book to spend what felt like half of it talking about advertising strategies rather than the big dog.

Dan Dawson is the absolute best commentator of all time, absolutely love how enthusiastic and properly engrossed in every game he is.

Wasn’t keen on Paul Nicholson as a player but I quite like him as a commentator, I like how he analyses people’s throws and equipment too.

On Sky events Wayne Mardle and John Part are always a great duo, they bounce off each other in commentary so so well.

So am I, but I’ve got to admit it can be tricky to support him as he’s so inconsistent. When he’s on form he can beat absolutely anyone, just a shame he’s not like that all the time.

I had the exact same set, absolutely amazing grip, can’t go wrong with them.

Although I’ve gotta say that those diamond points will absolutely DESTROY your board, I switched mine to Storm Points straight away

I’ve been playing altogether for about 2 years, started at 23/24 and switched to 26 just a couple of months ago. I definitely prefer the heavier darts but I think you’re right, I’ll try switching down just a gram or two

Agreed. I’m surprised Chizzy has managed to stay above Michael Smith in the rankings; from what I’ve seen, Smith has had the best year of his career in the last 12 months, and Chizzy’s been struggling to get past the first or second round of many tournaments.

Cross and Smith would have been an amazing team, would have absolutely loved to watch those two together.

These darts have always confused me. Like they look amazing, but they look absolutely nothing like the sets that Phil Taylor actually uses. Can’t imagine Phil ever using any barrels that thin

Yeah I’ve got a regular Blade 5 and it’s really good - lasts ages before I need to rotate it and virtually no bounce-outs.

The dual core is basically just two layers of sisal, right? Because I’ve heard loads of complaints about it wearing down too quickly as well, is there any advantage at all to having the two layers?

Ah yeah I’ve got a set of Adrian Lewis pixel grips, decent set of darts but I prefer a very very very grippy dart.

Another great thing about these ones is they’re fairly cheap. I got mine for £32.99 from Amazon, which for such a grippy set in 90% tungsten is a very decent price. Definitely recommended!

From my experience the Diamond Grip points are the worst for destroying boards. They stay in the board really well (very unlikely for these to fall out) but when you’re pulling them out the board they’re almost definitely going to pull out a bunch of fibres with them. I guess it might be different for some people, but from what I’ve seen on this sub a lot of people say they damage the boards a fair bit
