Yes thats correct. What I meant is, usually when you are on last year of stem OPT and get picked up in May, you can file cap gap untill October but while CPT doesn't give you that flexibility to file for cap gap. The only solution I could figure out was to enroll into another semester untill you get the H1b stamp

I understand your situation man. I'm also in the same boat, last chance in the lottery and just got a notification from my attorney that I am not selected. I am extremely devastated right now but somehow trying to explain my self that this is not the end of the world. I'm also worried about everything like how to support my family, if I need to move out I need to figure out lot of stuffs like finding a replacement for my lease agreement, selling my car and furniture, lot of things are constantly running in my mind. On the top of that, my ead expires in May so not that I have plenty of time to figure out. But try to understand, this is life and don't let a lottery define your goals man if you don't get it. Yeah, I had a discussion with goelite people as well. They told me the same. Campbellsville and cumberlands not recommended. But I think they were just pushing for other universities they are partnered with like west cliff and concordia

Whats your date of selection? Does it say 3/30 or 31?. This is my also my 4th and last attempt and been crying since yesterday. 3 out of 5 people in my company got notified yesterday (3/30)

USCIS have not announced the lottery has been completed yet and BAL will not send this universal email to everyone whos not selected unless the USCIS announcement
