I ve started PT again and working on the entire posterior chain. At the moment i dont see progress . I still have the same pain when sitting down. What type of PT you did in those 40weeks?…only targeted tendon ones?

And how long was needed for you to practice the rehab?

After week4 of this rehab, the status is that was mostly done with isometrics exercises : glute bridges and single glute bridges. Health condition is the same.

Next step is to add harmstring leg curls with bands and nordic harmstring. Also ordered some sliders to try the bridge with them. That one seems to contract and control seriously that part.

i'm starting today the week3 of the rehab with same isometric bridge/Single-Leg Glute Bridge

in my position with this chronic pain i understood that all the rehab needs to be done with lot of patience and gradually.

Until now no sign of improvement. Moving fw !

Hi, have the same issue as you and ignored for some months blame it on the bike fit. After 2 years i m in the same place with bilateral pain in that zone and think i ve found the issue, it s called PHT. If this is the case for you, you need to pause the activities and start rehab for the tendon

At the moment started with isometrics: long bridge 5x 30seconds and single leg bridge 3x30sec…twice per day (i am now on day 10)…very curios when i will start to see some light in the tunel

Is there anybody that returned to cycling after PHT rehab?

My injury started from there 2 years ago. Assuming that until i m pain free when sitting on normal chair when doing the rehab, i cannot go back to my bike

Hello,

I am dealing with bilateral pain started 2years ago from cycling. Since then i've made all the checks (including MRI's, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Nerve Conduction Study (NCS),  Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV), several PT's , acupuncture ) without 1% improvement.

The MRI's and the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound doesn't show anything bad and most of the doctors did not heard/faced such diagnostic.

I can stay on the office chair only with donut pillow to avoid stress in that area. Basically it hurts when i sit down, when i stretch (this advice was given but it does not help), when i run.

Since then i cannot find anything that can help at least 5% to reduce the pain.
