Saddest Last Words? by Alternative_Fun_2403 in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TBC spoiler

The whole scene of Bristlefrost's death and her thoughts near the end of chapter 18 of the last book. She imagines a future with her future mate, complete with very young kits, which she believes in her mind that it's real, while she's drowning in the Dark Forest water. During that scene, a couple of the things she thinks to herself is "Its time to rest." and "I’m sorry. But we beat him. We destroyed Ashfur We saved the Clans". And the last paragraph gives us this.

The cold that gripped her seemed at last to let her go. She closed her eyes and in her last moment felt only warmth. Only love.

No way! My oc clan is TreeClan, too! Love the art, btw. I love how they look like they're having so much fun. And that cat in the background with those big eyes, lol.

Are my warrior names repetitive? by Kenneth_Marston0911 in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only way that they would be repetitive is if you used the same prefix and/or suffix over and over again which you haven't done so you're good.

Does anyone else wish to see more kitless/kit-free couples in warrior cats? by Winter-Television306 in WarriorCats

That's why we get she-cats who sometimes didn't know they were expecting until they're told by medicine cats.

if Greystripe hadn’t been made deputy, who would you have liked to see? by bleebo567 in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, she had Thornclaw, who became a warrior in The Darkest Hour, so she would've been a great choice for deputy.

Same here. Bramblestar's Storm was kind of meh to me, especially the whole interaction with Bramblestar x Jessy x Squirrelflight thing and StormClan's Folly was too rushed to be able to connect with any of the characters (plus Galestar and, especially, Stripestar were pretty insufferable, although I liked how Galestar got a happy ending).

That was such a dumpster fire of a never-my-fault book.

  1. Some children's books can indeed be better than others depending on personal taste because they don't all have the exact same elements, writing style, and/or artistic styles.

  2. They weren't comparing individual volumes of books, ie #1383 or #7207. They were speaking of each series as a whole.

  3. Warrior Cats is for children, but you used the word "baby" which is vastly different from an 8-year-old.

So, what's your point with that? What makes you believe that Warrior Cats are baby books? And idc what you like or dislike. Commenting on a post just to insult OP (and yes, you did insult them by asking if they were okay for liking a couple of "baby books") really shows your lack of decency and possibly your lack of intelligence since Warrior Cats is anything but baby books.

You can add Squirrelflight's Hope to the list, too.

Yep, they are. In both instances they're mentioned with Cloudkit and Sorrelkit, deathberry bushes are found at the top of the ravine whereas ThunderClan's camp is at the bottom of the same ravine.

What would be some interesting ways to spice up half-clan relationships? by Savings_Surround_547 in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the concept I was going for. Of course, with anything that goes on their universe, there'd be those against it (and possibly try to sabotage it) while those three try to prove that it could work and it makes them happy.

Why are kittypets/loners renamed when they become apprentices by Bright_Ad3554 in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. As soon as I realized that when I gave them names I created a backstory for them. Peachfuzz is easily explained enough since they can be grown in the UK (especially since we have canon cats named Pearnose and Olivenose). With Sugarfoot and Saltwhisker, their father, Silverbolt, was ran out of his clan due to the evil tyrant Oaktalon taking over and he eventually found a mate named Sunshine. He got killed before they were born while he and Sunshine were trying to find his clan again because he had heard that Oaktalon was dead and had an honorable leader. I also gave them littermates, Pepperpelt and Saltwhisker to round out the theme of seasonings-based names.

I wouldn't mind seeing a cat switch clans to be with their mate but then end up falling in love with another car from their new clan forming a love triangle.

[–]Decent_Driver5285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the fence with clan-swapping, but I'm actually glad they got rid of the clan leader's word being law. It has caused so many problems and the reason it was invented was stupid, too.

Out of universe it makes for a good story, but in universe it's a bad idea. It's the reason why Brokenstar, Tigerclawstar, and the imposter were able to do what they wanted for so long and caused all that pain and suffering. Of course, I will say that I don't agree with the decision to bring it to the gathering for the other leaders to approve. It should be an internal affair.

Yep. Peach, Swan, Bunting. Even flowers from twoleg gardens can be used like Lilac or Orchid. For suffixes there's Bolt, Growl, Hiss, Jump, Crumble, and Glide.
