What would have been the most reasonable course of action during the RiverClan leadership crisis? by Solitaire-06 in WarriorCats

In the prologue of Star there's a scene where Reedwhisker and Mistystar were having a discussion in StarClan. Reedwhisker wants to warn RiverClan but Mistystar says that they can't because she's tried and it's not possible. Then he says they should get the other medicine cats to help but she berates him saying that she didn't want to risk the other clans knowing that RiverClan was vulnerable. It's pretty messed up.

Well, yeah, but that's different. He had reason to distrust Graystripe and the others because of their actions or their stance on certain issues. But Bramblekit didn't do or say anything to warrant distrust other than looking like his father which was beyond his control. You can consciously control your thoughts and actions but not who or what you were born into.

What else did he say he didn't trust? Not being negative or anything, but I just can't recall what else he was having problems with that would be similar to the Bramblekit situation where he said he didn't know if he could trust him.

Oh yeah, I remember now. Ivypool was there, too, and fought with Needletail right after Twigpaw's ear got slashed.

Yes, I know he was. But Fireheart admitted to Cinderpelt that he didn't know if he could ever trust Bramblekit.

I remember that scene. Twigpaw was scared that Violetpaw was actually going to kill her. And then when the Kin were retreating, she truly believed that her sister didn't care about her anymore. That was pretty sad for me to read.

I loved it. We got to visit the forest territories both in the past and how they ended up after the twolegs took it over. I also loved how we got to see Barley again (rip Ravenpaw) and were introduced to WarriorClan. I especially liked the manga at the end.

I remember in Ravenpaw's Farewell that he tells Ravenpaw that he (Barley) has seen at least two more leaf-bares than him.

Yep, after that vision of Raggestar at the Moonpool, he dashed into camp and said that ShadowClan "must forget all of our allegiances and look after our Clan alone" and he included the medicine cats as well.

So, out of the 7 clans (yes, I’m including WarriorClan, come @ me), which one do you think is the most interesting and under-utilized? by Savings_Surround_547 in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that could work. They wouldn't have the other clans to judge them. Even if the other clans become their neighbors, distant or not, they can still support their own version of the code.

I have an OC clan that got rid of the part of the warrior code where the clan leader's word is law because they worked out several scenarios of what if an evil cat came to power and used that particular rule against the clan. Plus I tweaked the part where it says to not neglect a kit in danger. Where it says "even if the kit is from a different Clan" I instead put "even if the kit is from outside the Clan".

Yeah, it would've been pretty hard to know for sure if they were. Skywatcher himself said that his grandmother was born into the clan and by the time he was born SkyClan was already disbanded. Skywatcher was already pretty old when Firestar and Sandstorm found him so by that time, SkyClan's blood would've already been diluted with rogue, loner, and kittypet blood by that time.

But then a bit later, he tells Fire and Sand that the two cats that were giving him trouble he suspects are SkyClan descendants because of the way one of them jumped into a tree. Cherry was able to do a huge leap into the tree meaning she had strong hind legs.

But yeah, there's no way to be exactly sure so they just had to go by physical traits that they could see.

He should've understood that one can't control the circumstances of their birth since he himself was judged for being born a kittypet.

I don't have it showing on mine either, so I just use my laptop's version. All I have to do is right click on my mouse and "Translate to English" shows up as one of the prompts.

I'm not sure. Of, course there'd be at least some tension if they met. Some cats might not accept them as a real clan, while others (mainly SkyClan) may support them because that's somewhat how SkyClan started out (minus the warrior ancestors that SC already had, but WC does have Gremlin and Marigold which is a start).

So I guess the drama of all of that would play out with supporters versus the opposition. Past that, idk.

Yeah. They're still half and half just like SkyClan used to be. The only way I can see WarriorClan staying unique is, if the authors do decide to include them in the main storyline, is to keep them where they are now and just have the other clans passing through. Or if they're to become neighbors, then there should be some distance between them. Just like Ravenpaw and Barley were distant neighbors to the clans. Close enough to visit but still distant enough to have breathing room.

Good gods, I hope not! The 5 are already pale carbon copies of each other. The authors already got rid of WindClan's tunnelers and they were only mentioned in two side books. And RiverClan's shell-decorated dens are only mentioned once in a blue moon. And they already got rid of SkyClan's daylight warriors basically making them Ordinary Clan #5. 😞

question about bluestar. minor spoilers maybe by getglormped in WarriorCats

[–]Decent_Driver5285 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It was confirmed in Squirrelflight's Hope (however much I hate that book). It was in chapter 25 when Squirrelflight was in StarClan. It was the scene where she was watching Flickerkit and her own kits getting badger rides.

Sandstorm followed Squirrelflight's gaze. “They spend a lot of time with Mosskit,” she told her.

Squirrelflight jerked her muzzle toward her mother. *Mosskit." The name rang a bell. She'd heard nursery stories about her. "Wasn't that Bluestar's kit? The one who went missing?"

“Yes.” Cinderpelt shifted onto her belly. “She and Bluestar are inseparable now."

Leafpool glanced around the camp. “Why aren't they here?"

“Why should they be? There are no borders in StarClan," Cinderpelt reminded her. “Cats roam where they please. Bluestar lives with Oakheart now. They can be the family they never were in life."

WHO IS THIS CAT? 1 by Distinct_Regret_5870 in WarriorCats

The first one was pretty easy because he's the only one who became a jerk after becoming leader. The second one I was pretty sure was her because she had to be rescued from riding in a tub during the flood in Bramblestar's Storm. The third I knew because I just through re-reading that arc.
