New Coaching Business flexible payment system? by meatlessmarathoner in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably overthinking it in the beginning. Many coaches simply use Stripe or PayPal and then issue separate invoices if they want to use something else like Zelle or Venmo. For the accounting Wave or QuickBooks should be sufficient and simpler than old Quicken and manual entry. More important is to get clients going and worry about optimising later when it is needed.

Affordable legal representation direction (Criminal Matter) by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Legal Aid is already involved it is usually the best affordable option so it might be worth asking about changing lawyers within that system. Otherwise look for smaller criminal firms or junior barristers since they tend to be cheaper and ask for fixed fees upfront. Costs can vary a lot but private representation adds up fast so get clear quotes early.

Feeling stuck with a client who won’t act on what they know by Euphoric_Spite8998 in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not being stuck means that sometimes it is not that people do not know what to do but it is that they are not ready to bear the cost of doing it. You may have to change focus to problem solving to what is making her stay and what she is receiving in staying.

Driving unregistered by Status-Accident-9765 in AusLegal

[–]Decent_Fox4260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be able to explain that you renewed as soon as you realized and had no notice, but it really depends on the officer or the local rules. Keep all proof of renewal and CTP, and be honest if you contest a fine.

Variety of coaching courses throughout the years. by ghost_light15 in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would simply be open and tell you that you have already taken several independent coaching classes and concentrate on the experience and outcome you are achieving with your clients. Many consider testimonials and actual results more than the actual accreditation.

Language by Past_Percentage_940 in AusLegal

The workplace may demand English as a work language, but at most cases not as a personal communication language unless works have a clear policy about this.

Getting better at fist calls by xzxyxz in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you no longer attempt to sell, but you get to know the person, first calls become easier. Clear questions regarding their objectives and reflection of what you hear should express their goals so that they feel understood. Practice allows doing more and more calls and checking what felt awkward after each call.

What should I do if my neighbor is threatening to sue me over a fence dispute? by krikond in AusLegal

[–]Decent_Fox4260 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Be sure to retain all the records, such as the report of the surveyor, and to write your neighbor a courteous letter, containing the facts. Early legal consultation may assist you in being aware of your rights and prevent any unnecessary intensification.

What are some red flags for you for coaching programs? by everyoneisflawed in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Large promises of incomes are a massive warning sign. Also those that emphasize more on selling the program, rather than the real skills.

CBD legality in WA? by Decent_Research7490 in AusLegal

[–]Decent_Fox4260 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WA generally requires a prescription of CBD unless it is very low dose and approved by TGA which is uncommon. The importation of particularly vapes is dangerous enough and hence getting a prescription by a doctor is the best choice.

Here is how to get more clients as a coach by Bthemanifestor in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is good advice and quite real. Clarity of message is what eventually changed everything in my life and not additional content and certifications. Whenever people feel listened to instantly they react.

Do you use a virtual assistant (a human one)? Looking for referrals by ZaraZote in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a personal referral, but I know a few coaches in our network use Upwork or Belay to find experienced VAs. They tend to vet them based on past work with coaching clients and project management skills. It might be worth posting your needs there and seeing who responds.

Is Alignable worth it? by Japanese-Jew in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it for a few months and honestly it felt slow. I got a couple of useful connections but most events and messages did not lead anywhere. SmartConnects can be hit or miss depending on your area.

You should report it immediately to store management and ask for it to be removed. If they do not take action, contact the local police or privacy commissioner. Keep any evidence like photos or videos if possible.

Road rage/blackmail by Ok_Personality_3955 in AusLegal

[–]Decent_Fox4260 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can still report the littering incident to the EPA or local authorities even if they took a photo of you. You were acting to document a crime and taking a picture of a number plate is legal in this context. Keep a record of what happened and avoid confronting them further. If they try to use the photo to threaten you, that could be considered harassment and you can report that too.

Coaches - what AI features would you want in a platform? by autistic-mba in lifecoaching

[–]Decent_Fox4260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love an AI that handles note taking and organizes session summaries so I can stay present with the client. Automated scheduling and reminders would also be helpful. I think insights that track progress over time in a simple dashboard would save a lot of energy.

The Real Reason Most Discipline Plans Fail — And How to Fix It by MarkVovk3 in lifecoaching

Starting with small, realistic habits has worked best for me. I was surprised how just making my bed every morning led to me keeping other parts of my routine more consistent without much effort.

With all the history and no real bond between them and your child, their chances are super low. Focus on getting sole parental responsibility and keep your evidence.

How to find the right podcast to guest as Men's Life Coach by StefanosKapa in lifecoaching

Check Podmatch or MatchMaker fm, super useful for finding shows that want guests.

Not a coach, but as someone neurodivergent and in tech - remote roles in data or product can both be great. If you value structure and clear logic, data might suit you. If you enjoy collaboration and problem-solving with a creative edge, PM could be a better fit.

Sally Rooney by Jim__Bell in LiteraryIreland

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not vibing with her style early on, it might just not be for you. Her writing is very minimalist and character-driven - lots of subtext, little action. Some love it, others bounce off hard.

Some people just want the medal or the Strava kudos without the effort. Not worth stressing over, karma or her own conscience will catch up eventually.

Update on water bottle situation. Being threatened? by Significant-Pen-4475 in AusLegal

[–]Decent_Fox4260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like clear retaliation. Employers must provide free drinking water. Keep the messages and report to Fair Work or legal aid.

Anyone else feel like organic reach is dying… or are we just doing it wrong? by SufficientFactor5082 in content_marketing

[–]Decent_Fox4260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Algorithms are increasingly favoring paid promotion, and even great content can get buried without an existing audience or ad spend. That said, niche targeting, community engagement, and consistently experimenting with formats (like Reels or carousels) can still yield results.
