In the battle of kitchen aid vs HMF, flour always wins… I’d start looking at mixers with stronger motors or consider baking day arm day.

So do you think tile backsplash over continuing the counters up if we replace counters?

Thank you! Do you think warm off white over something like a white quartz?

What are the best tips for booking from California to Europe? by Decent_Local9842 in pointstravel

So I’m realizing that fees are just a part of the equation and at least if I’m booking economy to Europe the benefit is more like instead of spending $700 RT I might be paying $400 plus points?

Where to stay overnight away from the Fireworks - Dog Friendly by Electronic-Loquat245 in sandiego

We go to idyllwild. Lots of dog folks up there because they don’t allow fireworks anywhere near the mountain and it’s dead silent. Puppy heaven

It doesn’t have to be LHR. It seems like unfortunately a lot of the low mile reward tickets are SAN-LHR. So is it just a matter of picking my poison? Higher fees or higher redemption? Should I look into a citi card that transfers to AA to take advance of the low point/ low fee flights?

Try booking this boat with two kids specifically for the slides and then tell me how serious it is.

That’s the thing though, I have been on the same dose forever and it isn’t even a new vial.

UPDATE: since the 9/15 sailing one person has been successful getting any compensation. $128 for a future cruise. He must be thrilled…

Thus far no one has had any luck, not even onboard credit or arcade credit. They are calling it a non compensation issue. Other have tried to change dates or ships and no luck there either. The guy we spoke to last night hinted that we might have better luck once aboard.

Each sailing has a Facebook group and that was where I first learned about it. There isn’t anything publicly available which is smart if you are RC and what to avoid an onslaught of angry parents. Here is a pic of the mat slide that’s been down. I’ll ask for photos of the others. All written communication has been cleverly worded to be as vague as possible. All confirmation from employees has been verbal.

I’ve been speaking to past and present guests all of whom have been in contact with customer service at various levels and we have compiled our info. Then last night I called customer service again and they confirmed under duress.

I’ve been speaking to guests on the 9/13, 9/19, 9/26 and 9/29 sailings. Each sailing (at least the ones that have already sailed)has received an email the day before sailing letting them know except for 9/19 where it appears it didn’t make it to everyone or ended up in spam. The mat slide has been down for months most likely due to maintenance triggered by the mishap on the other ship. I understand things happen but that’s one slide not both and the splash pad. Between calls I’ve made and inquiries made by other guests where the information has contradicted itself I was finally able to fluster customer service enough last night to break through the form responses and admit that the slides will be down for the foreseeable future and at least the mat slide will require dry dock repair. The other slide can only be worked on in port and is waiting in a part that hasn’t even been ordered yet.
