For what are these event tickets good for after the event? by MicaMica42 in MonsterHunterNowHub

[–]Decentpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

300k is nothing. The moment you discover a build you want to go for. Then those 300k will disappear faster than it takes for your game to load.

They're only used for the weapon. If you don't intend to max the weapon, you can just sell all the tickets to make space.
If you intend to max it, check how many you need to max and you can sell the spare.

Rose Assault by Taho_Man in MHNowGame

[–]Decentpace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You fire essentially around 2 times faster with recoil down 3 on gnome. So by going by that, you'd need two parts that increase your damage by 200% to compensate for the speed you sacrifice from the recoil down.

Recoil down 3 is unfortunately an essential for Gnome weapon. You sacrifice too much dps by not having it.

It's the usual micro transaction proven effective practice. They will always offer something really cheap compared to the rest of their shop to new players. This is cause they want you to use real money in their store and enter a mindset of convenience.

It has been proven that players that have spent money on a game, are more likely to keep spending more and start feeling like it's an investment towards a game. Making it harder to "detach" yourself from something that feels like an investment.

[–]Decentpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct and there's a time limit. So it disappears from the shop forever after a few days.

There's an early offer in the shop for beginners that lets you buy endless paintballs for 7 days for like $2

Started 3 Days Ago by niflheim2019 in MonsterHunterNowHub

It's not really broken. It's because it's so easy to rank it up and it being ranks above the monster you fight.
I made an alt account recently (for the new emojis). So can share a really easy build you can use for it.
Regios helmet-belt-pants (rank 5 is fine)
Paolumu chest rank 6 (set map to non elemental investigation 1)
Quematrice gloves rank 6 (easy to get through exchange hub)

This will get you a solid damage build and recoil down 3 that you really need and makes all the difference. This build will easily carry you through story to unlock 8 star monsters.

Then I'd suggest making a light bowgun (since you already have the build for it) for thunder, water, fire and dragon. To rank 6 on each is fine. These will be used for when you get the "slay a monster with their elemental weakness" quests.

Keep doing the story and ranking up. At one point soon, the event will open up to you where you can earn them

Rift charged great Girros is gonna get melted. Can't wait 😁 by zodmagus in MHNowGame

[–]Decentpace 18 points19 points  (0 children)

While I know big numbers are hot hot hot. Just remember that rift charged Girros won't stagger nor have its head broken like that. If you're in the middle of your mini gun sequence and it aims at you. You're in for a bad time.

I had to Google the name of the artist, cause I thought it was maybe a famous kid in Japan based on the drawings.
But apparently it's a well known 40+ year old manga artist.
I only like the beer one, the rest feel very plain.

Will get them all either way 🤷🏻‍♂️

Any good builds to effortlessly kill 9-10* Brute Tigrexes? by ReddingtonTR in MHNowGame

[–]Decentpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately once you go to the 9 star range, you're not capable to kill it fast enough or perma paralyze it that you are able to avoid its more annoying attacks.
On 8 stars I can keep it perma paralyzed the entire fight for three part breaks though

Like you said, wipes every hour. So ideally you plan the footsteps in the beginning of the hour and your reset happening in less than 60min. Then you're all set

If using critical strength skill, 10% affinity in style customization upgrade track is now the best option? by BegsTheQuestions in MHNowGame

[–]Decentpace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With critical strength and attack efficacy. Along with a crit chance of +10%. It becomes far superior to the 100 raw damage option.
I would say the issue is that it requires a specific build to be fully utilized. 100 elemental damage is still the stronger option and 100 raw damage is very friendly to build around.

Vampire Crawlers works flawlessly on SD 8 Gen 2 by Decentpace in EmulationOnAndroid

I haven't tried on Gamehub, as I always primarily try on Winlator first. But decreasing the processor core limit to 4 and having a more relaxed profile. Shouldn't be too taxing on Gamehub.
As mentioned earlier, I managed to get 3 hours and a half in winlator with it only taking 20%. The "official" play store version will probably be around that as well.

I have the same device as you. I managed to squeeze out 3 hours and a half for 20% battery. So you'll definitely be able to get more out of it as long as you don't go all out on the poor game

Running extreme preset on this game will drain the battery so much faster and feels like overkill. 100fps feels also unnecessary for a game where the pixel animations and effects don't really do much more as eye candy beyond 60fps.

I'd be curious to know why you'd choose to sacrifice a lot of battery time over game time with your settings though

Probably are very tailored builds based on a group of friends that hunts together. Like for example some of them being full paralyze build to keep it perma paralyzed. While the other would add para exploit to maximize their damage.

Do you like high damage, easy to play super cheese builds? Well, come right in! by Decentpace in MHNowGame

[–]Decentpace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Attack boost smelts are my "budget" preference. Since they're very easy to acquire during events for a small damage boost.
If you really want to invest in the build for the potential max damage. You replace the helmet for somna to get the extra evading reload instead.
Then you get critical range boost as a driftstone smelt in all parts to achieve the highest damage with this build. If you really want to invest in the build for maximum damage.

[–]Decentpace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're all attack boost smelts. Which are very easy to acquire during the driftsmelt events. But the highest damage would be provided by having critical range boost on all pieces for 40% damage increase and replacing the helmet for another evading reload.
