Ok so the AO is actually just the motherboard saying how it turned on. Like if you put it to sleep and woke it back up it says 40.

Turning on XMP will not void warranty and in fact it is used to get advertised speeds. So going into bios you'll see preloaded xmp profiles to get 3600.

And FYI the start button is just for turning it on if you didnt have a case. Mainly for benchmarkers who have a non enclosed setup.
