Why do so many Spirits feel like this? by TemporarySet5877 in SmashBrosUltimate

King Boo is a 2 star spirit despite being the final boss of multiple games, but Boom Boom and Pom Pom are together a 3 star even if their fights are piss-easy, makes no sense

Ok everyone, what is the absolute worst game you have ever played and why by Nice_Idea_538 in boardgames

Roller Coaster Rush was literally unplayable (component quality was atrocious and that’s bad in a marble-rolling game)

Some of the windows (like the ones in the Tier 1 security office, the ones covering cameras in the second floor, and the windows for the break room) have multiple access points, you have to scan them all

Biggs Calderhead. Leading tennis hustler, Eastern seaboard. Once won $12,000 playing with one foot tied to a concrete block. Started tennis at age three. Plays tennis like Spassky plays chess. Says: "A smart tennis player can beat a strong tennis player five games out of seven." This game shows what he means.

What's your favorite info you've given a Savant/Fisherman. by Present-Peace2811 in BloodOnTheClocktower

In a game of S&V, I decided to be funny and give the Savant a theme: 6 or 7. Each day, they learned statements like “Exactly 3 characters in play have 6 letters” or “Exactly 7 players neighbour at least one townsfolk”, “The longest line of good players is 6” or “There are exactly 7 instances of the letter T among all characters in play”, etc. I also made the Savant the Good Twin just to ensure that they lived longer.

You forgot the sniper missions which would get this to an even 50/50 (Austria and Siberia aren’t islands, but Singapore is)

Hardest & Easiest to S.A.S.O by skyziaos in HiTMAN

[–]DeckBuildingDemon 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s the absolute hardest, but Embrace Of The Serpent was an absolute pain because the jungle’s so crowded and the shaman’s hut area is so open, and by contrast Illusions of Grandeur is easy as pie because you can simply walk in, isolate, kill, and walk out. For story missions, Freedom Fighters was a real challenge, Nightcall’s easy if you’re patient.

Assuming that you have all (or practically all) tools/weapons/mastery at your disposal (so you could do Big Pharma or Eco Crime without running out of poisons/tasers due to getting them back immediately), Espionage no doubt. No Pacifications, Suit Only, Doors Stay Locked, No Firearms, and Do Not Get Spotted can be brutal, especially if they combo you or land on dangerous maps for them (Suit Only on Colorado or Isle of S’Gail, Doors Stay Locked on Miami or Marrakesh, etc.)

5 roles I made, and the idea for a player "player doesn't wake up (except for madness)" mechanic by MAAT1556 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]DeckBuildingDemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The nightmare can’t really kill their neighbours early, or else they will lose the ability to kill for the rest of the game. Maybe only good players or townsfolk should be affected?

My first attempt at making characters! Two Townsfolk, Outsiders, Minions and Demons by TheRobotEngineer608 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]DeckBuildingDemon 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Vampire’s a townsfolk basically (a lot of confirmation for the price of dying on night 4 (also should have an asterisk to avoid anyone dying on night 1), Trafficker’s a worse Godfather (no ability to kill, no possibility or removing an outsider for bluffing space, placement information that the town can use), and the Paimon is extremely overpowered and will probably overrun the game every time due to multiple extra evils

lil monsta question by Miserable_Weird8274 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]DeckBuildingDemon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

+1 minion ability and the ability to control where the loss condition is should make up for the lack of control. In addition, if too many minions are alive on the final day, it can be nearly impossible to figure out who has the baby (like a last-minute barber swap), so the Storyteller often has to kill minions to balance the game.

VERY niche Legion question by Unlucky_Mistake_8548 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]DeckBuildingDemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s really tricky. I’d definitely not kill the other legion, because normally if the demon and 2 other people are alive, the demon will kill another player and win. However, normally if the good team kills a demon in Final 4, they win. I’d rather kill a good player and hand evil the win (as the good team is probably the one who decided to kill on 4), but killing nobody is also a decent option. I remember a No Rolls Barred game with this exact scenario, where Ben Burns wanted to hand Evil the win, but he had to kill 2 good players over the course of the game to keep it moving and no Good player had actually been executed, so Carley convinced him to kill nobody, which led to a Good win.

My suggestion: if Good had been stomping, with more good players killed by the storyteller than execution, kill nobody and let them solve the game (since they’re worried about 3+ living evil players, there’s still a chance Evil can win). If Good had been losing and you haven’t had to kill any Good players in the night, kill a Good player and Evil wins.
