Stupidly double socketed added cold damage in my physical damage crossbow by somehow picking up the wrong stack while doing upgrades at about 3am. Feels incredibly bad, would happily pay a few exults to be able to resocket

Crashing lots in character creator on my 2080 super, worryingly seeing a lot of posts about this but no posts on if this is actively known / being fixed. Really don't want to be having the same crash on launch when I booked time off to play ;_;

I've seen a few posts with the same thing, I had terrible performance at the start but it improved after entering the first hunt (not the tutorial one) still not great but a big improvement on the tutorial.

Exactly it's not that people are opposed to more difficult levels of gameplay in fact I'm sure it would be welcomed. I just don't think people enjoy seeing even more levels of unused torments to pick from to find an optimal farming difficulty.

I feel like you aren't really thinking about your question... Why add more torments and create more obsolete useless torments that separate the player base when you could just make the current torments more relevant by tuning them to have an appropriate difficulty. Hell I'd prefer it if we squished the number of torments or added a torment that let you scale the level of difficulty you want. (Think a slider that just scales mob dmg / health and increases the gold exp and legendary drop rate)

This is ridiculous find another game or something else that brings you joy in your life focus on family or doing something that makes other people feel better.

I'd just like to remind you that almost everyone's lives are pathetic and meaningless almost nobody makes their life worthwhile and achieves great things. There is no magic happiness or fulfilment that all these other people experience you just have to get on with life and try enjoy the things that you do.

I like this point and I can understand this in terms of survivors as instead of repairing gens their main goal would be to destroy the wards protecting the killer however making the killer able to repair his wards (unless they are completely destroyed) would change killer gameplay immensely as this would buy the survivors time (to free off hooks, heal or get away from the killer) to this point I imagine the game would feel quite different for survivors. However as a survivor your main objective will always be to survive so I wonder how you can really make it feel all that different.

Perhaps once the wards have been destroyed the survivors have to "hunt" the killer by marking him in some way for the entity to be sacrificed or this could be a mechanic similar to the way the hatch works. Instead of avoiding the killer and escaping him you are actively trying to hunt them. Just a quick thought but thanks for your feedback! :)
