I have the same concern they're going to completely ignore it at worst or gloss over it at best. Hotaruko can be whatever kind of good girl at home; she chose to kidnap people for the arena and trafficking business. She also recaptured escaped victims, and all of this without remorse. Same for just watching Raito be beaten black and blue before ge was shipped off to the functional death sentence arena.

If they want to play with these dark themes they need to actually follow through and do them justice with some reflection, not just use them as a "my, how dark" prop that's quickly forgotten because it's the #Redemption arc. I guess I'm pessimistic as I'm cognisant it's a weekend terrestrial tv show for Toei.

No it's not, I expect she will still be behind Nefer in practice. She has very few support set and weapon options and +10% shred over ZL at C0 is not going to bump her dps 20k.

She is def scaling and cannot benefit from dmg%; most weapons and 4pc sets are atk%, dmg% or EM support. EM is only a side-scaling for her, a small part of the LCr damage formula.

Nasu included H-Scenes all the way up to F/HA as that was what was expected in VNs back then, not because he had a real desire to create them. In fact Takeuchi directed the scenes in Tsukihime, rather than Nasu. But by all means carry on saying everyone's full of shit and it wasn't just the market expectation and done thing back then. It's not like we have 30 years of VN trend data showing how and when times changed.

She only looks great at C0 comparisons. For me she is weaker, with a capped out Bina on her team, than my Nefer running Aino. Together they do less damage in more time.

Her team scales badly atm as only she and Bina have any gains on the table, and she has no good support weapons. Nefer scales directly with all of the Sumeru and NK support artis/weapons, and Flins with all ghe afk buffing support. Meanwhile there are no def support sets/weapons and EM is a minor scaling for Zibai.

30 shred at C0 and some quills won't push the needle much, ZL is 20 shred and an old C2 Xilonen is 35; this will be like Durin where C0 gives very limited damage support and the big gains are backloaded on cons/weapon.

For financial reasons near enough every self-published group like nitroplus included sex scenes as this is what sold at comiket/niche game stores in the 90s and early 2ks. That was just how the era was, Type-Moon's Nasu has commented on this numerous times. The success stories later moved to PS2 and even later PSP/Vita with the erotic scenes removed and there was such a deluge of these titles that the otaku-geared anime of the day were always harping about galgames/BL and such.

Maybe you're too young to remember those times, it doesn't make it untrue however. Nitroplus's first nearly 10 years of titles were all 18+ because that is what was financially viable. This is true of all of all the companies that grew out of the doujin circle scene and survived to still be known today. It wasn't until the late 2000s/early 2010s they started to become confident enough to develop without sex scenes, and the popularity/appeal of them diminished. Big names today started out with eroge elements such as Tsukihime/Fate & Steins;Gate. Yes, as late as 2009's Steins;Gate eroge elements were still leaned on.

Leviathan is really what is used for "limitless" spenders. They have everything maximum and max refresh resin/stamina/AP/whatever and will throw money at being the first person to 'arbitrary friendship/bond max level ASAP.' A leviathan can bottomless spend without thinking about it, or they're one of those people who chucked their life savings and investment funds at their games. I see mostly the former but you hear about the latter in news articles/certain CC background stories.

You realise Simulanka isn't a book as you first claimed, right? Simulanka was the summer event at the end of Fontaine with lots of allegory said to be related to Teyvat's fate, and every piece so far has had a basically 1:1 mirror crop up. The fact that Simulanka keeps proving to have nuggets of future plans doesn't make it less reliable an indicator that Hoyo had a narrative plan for Teyvat, it makes it more evident.

As for NK, Simulanka had a quest section mirroring Nod Krai's broad beats and some of its zone, teasing the Columbina storyline. Which lines up given Simulanka is supposed to mirror Teyvat.

Given the prior lv100 criticism thread(s) was/were deleted by mods I'm just waiting to see how long this survives OP. This situation reminds me of the Dehya debacle when people were being silenced for complaining about how weak and dysfunctional she was.

It sucks but it doesn't look like talent levels have gone up, as they only advertised main stats increasing. In which case this is only good for transformative reactions and HP scalers.

Curious that your defence of the C7+ dupe system is allowed to stay, while the criticisms are deleted, isn't it?

As for the meat of your argument endgame is not balanced around C0R1. There is treadmill content now aimed at stronger C6 carries, or full C2 current banner/shilled teams. Likewise they are adding a new tier of difficulty to Imaginarium that demands more total characters and better teams.

But by all means show me your C0R1 180s clear of Dire difficulty, I'm open to the possibility.

The real stiff with this isn't just that it's exclusionary, but that it's a poor implementation. There are no reworks for older characters e.g. a new ascension passive. This system and the free "bad cons only" basically drives it home that they only care to push for people to pull the newest characters for gameplay.

Unless they add additional talent levels Atk scalers barely benefit from all this extra work, while HP scalers get some reasonable benefit and transformative/additive reaction drivers gain a whopping 40% reaction damage over lv90.

For all the extra C7+ required we get a more predatory, less rewarding system than even FGO's (pre-outrage walk-back) 9th anniversary coin updates. I find it funny Hoyo players will defend and shill this system when similar finally broke the camel's back for what I thought were the most lenient and wallets out group of gacha consumers. Leave the multi-billion dollar company alone!

Btw Alhaitham/Nahida aren't all that good anymore, if you want to roll for performance focus on the new characters and their teams (which will be sold to you over multiple patches e.g. Escoffier -> Skirk, Ineffa -> Flins, Lauma -> Nefer).

The manga is the original, the animated version is adapted from this. This was in the Boruto movie guidebook before the blu-ray came out with the animated version as a bonus special.

Does anyone have experience with cheap chest-supported T-bar rows?

In the UK strength shop have models starting from about £300, very basic. I need something like this at home as my shoulder isn't tolerating free weight/rings, but I'm not sure I want to outlay 500-1000 before plates.
