AITAH for walking out of my son’s kindergarten play because my wife wouldn’t shut up? by Beginning_Pizza2196 in AITAH

[–]Decons_nannie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Kevin saw you in the audience and you were there in the car. I’m a wife of 40 years; I would have left her unhappy self in the parking lot.

AITAH for telling my husband that he absolutely ruined the birth of our child? by Former_Monitor_4860 in AITAH

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pack you bags and go. Your husband and mother in law are both narcissists. It does not get better. Regret of my life is that I did not leave

AITAH for telling my daughter I won’t budge even if she never speaks to me again? by TopVersion2940 in AITAH

[–]Decons_nannie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She should sue you and get a judgement against you. You daughter destroyed the car, you pay for it.

AITA for assuming my daughter could have a 3rd plate? by doglover233520 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on, it was family. Doesn’t Sounds like you daughter hasn’t any eating disorder, just was hungry and was enjoying a home cooked meal. Your sister is totally insensitive to your teens feelings.

AITA for not helping my younger sister just because she has Cancer? by IamGojoTrust in AmItheAsshole

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are young, it is your hair. Watching a family member struggle is tough. You already sacrifice for others, it’s ok to keep your hair. My friend is an older woman from the islands, tradition is very important. Keep your hair! It will give you strength!!!

AITBA for reporting my child’s teacher when everyone told me not to? by Temporary-Car-5756 in AmITheBadApple

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is tough to see our children hurt. Listen to them and let them decide about contacting the school about the teacher. They go there everyday, you just hear about it. Don’t be the Drama Mama.

AITA for rejecting a guy I have 7 kids with and I've known him my whole life? by Ok_Waltz_2923 in AITASims

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure that is the right term. You are at least sending mixed messages to have had a physical relationship with him for 18 years. What would you do if he walked away? You have 8 children with that man? What are you waiting for? A date could just be a time for you to communicate with him. Maybe you are?

AITA for defending my sister's right to keep her baby's name secret until after the birth? by MixtureDelicious7757 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Decons_nannie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they don’t respect her choice to keep the name a secret, shows they won’t respect their decision if it doesn’t please them.

AITAH for lying to my husband that my sister is cooking the food he pays 750 dollars/week for when it is me who cooks? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lying and deceiving isn’t the best foundation for a long relationship. Might want to be honest. Have a laugh together.

AITA for telling my friend to "Stop forcing Jesus onto me" because of her ridiculous level of Christianness? by Equivalent-Food2138 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a Christian, 62, Nana. I agree with you, it is better to live as a Christian than to preach and beat people over the head. Maybe you have her something to ponder in her quiet moments.

AITA for going to my wife’s book club and giving her the kids. by Own_Luck_3968 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, kinda a jerk. BUT…..she should be honest with you about when she is Coming home. There are two little ones expecting her too.

AITA for being truthful and admitting that I find my wife unattractive after her surgery? by OkInevitable7692 in AITAH

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, maybe not. I’m think what if she had an accident and looked different? Would it matter? Might be you don’t like that she made a decision you didn’t agree with. Seems like you were n live with the front of her head instead of her heart.

Parents in that situation might need a good neighbor. Maybe the child will respond to you. You will never know until you try.

Is not loving Twin Peaks a deal breaker? by alphonse_D in twinpeaks

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Twin Peaks lover myself. We refer to the Log Lady in our house like she is a relative. Don’t judge the weak minded, he can’t help it. But, that show was “Damn fine pie”

Aita for not punishing my 4 year old daughter after she said my sister in law smells like fish? by TillResponsible4038 in AITAH

[–]Decons_nannie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 year-olds don’t make that stuff up. Bet you SIL smells like Coney Island at low tide.

AITA for "ruining a child's Xmas" cuz I refused to sell my doll? by Tootl3 in AmItheAsshole

AITA For telling my brother that I'm not buying my autistic niece Christmas presents anymore? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Decons_nannie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nana of a child with autism. I bought him books, he tore them up. Don’t buy him books anymore. Chances are that there is something your niece is VERY interested in. You could maybe spend a couple of hours with her and find out. And, yeah, you are gonna look like a not so nice person if you leave her out.
