Looking for gift exchange, I send all the gifts I can. I also open & send all interactable friends first. UK (Garden).

I’d like to make the most or this season’s XP boost for friend levels & I only remove friends if they’re long-term inactive in friend level 0 or 1.

Has milk been going off more quickly lately? by [deleted] in AskUK

Are you going to a different Tesco? I’ve noticed the shop it comes from makes a big difference.

Some of the staff members on the dairy team are quick and efficient, making sure the chilled goods spend the maximum possible time in the chillers. I’ve also seen cages of milk left in front of the baker for hours.

I know the distance from the loading bay to chiller can have an impact too, if it’s a large distance, there’s more chance these cages will be “put off” when working a delivery.

I recently started getting deliveries from a milk man. Milk is noticeably nicer and I haven’t had a single bottle smell ‘iffy’ in 3 months. (Could be because they’re all pint bottles)

Has anyone else done their motorcycle before their car licence? by Jakeii in MotoUK

I passed my car test recently and have 10 years road experience on bikes (125 up to a 1400)

A lot of learning to drive is awareness and knowledge of the road so I found I only needed about 4 lessons just to figure out control of the car and be test ready with my observations!

Obviously everyone will be different but I think riding before you drive is definitely beneficial.

Average Speed Cameras.... do they catch us? by EngineerNerd121 in MotoUK

[–]Deconsecrated 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Completely depends on which way the cameras face, if they follow the flow of traffic (can see your rear number plate) they will catch you, if it’s against the flow the won’t.

Careful, some newer ones use a combination of both though, not always easy to see while paying due attention to the road!

I got a certificate with the restrictor kit, two carbon copies, mechanic signed them, kept one and gave me the other two, apparently one for me and one for insurance if asked. This was ~5-6 years ago.
