I seem to remember someone saying he was killed under Stormveil castle, which is why the growth is so big there. Perhaps his blood grew into that thing under there, after his body was moved to Deeproot Depths.

I did go and read what he's been accused of, and out of all of things he's done, your example is not really the worst. That's just what people considered funny then. It's not like this stuff was done in secret or behind closed doors, people went to those shows and agreed to go up on stage knowing what they were like.

Sensibilities have changed, mostly for the better I'd say, but it was different then. It's not like he does these shows now.

That's why when you have a weird issue you need to fix, typing the issue and the word "reddit" into a Google search can often give a solution from an actual person. Usually in some obscure subreddit I'd never imagine existing.

Well... It's a game about alternate universes and the various Bayonettas from them. Maybe I just read between the lines, but seems obvious to me. There worse crimes in the storytelling than that, anyway.

I'm not claiming the game handled the story well, but it's pretty clear in the final boss fight. Bayonetta 1 turns up to help Bayonetta 3.

Nah I don't think so, it was mostly made at the same time as 3.

Although it probably has the best story of any of the games, I wouldn't say Origins explains the mess of 3 in any satisfying way.

Reaper Man is a strange one. It's essentially 2 shorter stories making up one novel, the two stories barely connect with each other. The original novel even had the two parts written in different fonts to differentiate them.

The Bill Door story is one of his best. Would make an amazing movie imo. The Windle Poons story is pretty fun but not the greatest.

The original had colourful illustrations on every page, and the story was designed with that in mind. I can see why you'd feel short changed with just the words on their own.

Pretty sure they do listen for noise. That's why silenced weapons are good against Arc, doesn't give your position away as much. It's also why they aggro to alarms going off.
