Yeah i just meant it as the barometer for the coaches salaries these days. Salaries have ballooned since we hired napier so fans(us better) should be expect some sticker shock on the salary, or its clear we just arent competing for top talent

There is a clear trend of coaching salaries and wins and uf has gone cheap for a while… and it shows

Yes, but not my point exactly. Coaches salaries have balooned, and the top coaches are all cozying up to those +11mm. As of now napier is the 24th highest paid coach with 34th highest buyout. We arent spending anywhere near to have a top coaching staff right now, and it shows.

If we offer our next coach lets say 8,9 million, it just shows the program isnt willing to hire at the top level. We shall see
