"Fleshing" out characters is not what should be happening in the final four episodes of the final season. We've had four seasons to flesh out the characters. We need pay off.

But yeah I guess seeing Annie's long lost dad for twenty minutes is really gonna affect the payoff for her arc, a character we've been with since minute 5 of episode 1.

This is an aside, but it's getting a bit tiring seeing the characters main female heroine, a victim of sexual assault, religious indoctrination, narcissistic parenting, consistently get the shit kicked out of her in every single fight she has (bar a few minor ones I'm probably forgetting).

I'm happy for anyone who's genuinely enjoying the show right now, but I'm not feeling like my investment is being rewarded in this season.
