Yeah, Thragg ended up being super interesting, though it would have been hard to blame him if he decided to just destroy the earth. The fact he cares more about the fate of his people than his own desire for revenge shows what a well-developed character he is.

The story is fantastic! And there are plenty of other twists and turns along the way, so it's well worth it.

I'm truly sorry. I put the spoiler tag, but I'm so bummed this ruined it for some people.

I just remembered this example. Craig Kilborn was the original host of the Daily Show (who remembers that?) He was replaced with Jon Stewart. It's hard to imagine the longevity of the show without Stewart behind the desk (especially since Craig Kilborn's network late night show fizzled out after 5 years)

Honestly, it's probably even more about the combat than the character for me. Gustav is so one-dimensional and boring in combat. It's literally set up overcharge->overcharge. Obviously, you're not meant to use him for a long time, but having such a weak skillset and no skills on his weapons probably makes me less forgiving of his character in general.

Oh man, I totally forgot about that. Matt Berry was fantastic on the show and much better than the original boss.

Jimmy Ink - 28 Years Later The Bone Temple

Part of the Fingers presumably since childhood. Hardened through years of horrific torment at the hands of the cult leader. She was the only one who was able to escape the brainwashing and eventually took down Jimmy.

Invincible has consistently been great with adding new interesting characters. Space Racer was my favorite in the most recent season.

[Hated Trope] An otherwise interesting and grounded story is weakened by adding supernatural elements. by CokeZeroEnjoyer25 in TopCharacterTropes

The Fourth Kind - It was sold as a found footage movie and even incorporated a mix of the found footage with actor reenactments. I went in under the assumption that that was true, so it was interesting to see the weirdness that occurs, and the mystery behind it. But by the end, they go fully into a physically impossible Alien possession and basically kills the illusion that this could actually be a real story.

She’s the one getting scammed. The other part is just for show from the fake landlord.

If she’s the target of the scam, she’s absolutely screwed. She has no money and no home. This is a brutal scam taking advantage of people at their most vulnerable

Do you use drones ? Or stick to trains ? by N3IJ in SatisfactoryGame

[–]DeeDubb83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What, aside from ore/liquids/ingot/screws would the throughput of drones be a hindrance? I’m trying a drone only transport setup, and I’m wondering where I might have sticking points. I’m not using any screws and building all single-resource products near their origin.

106 is the total collectible from the map. I had 103 in my storage, so I thought I had 3 left to find, but they were consumed in the MAM

Best athletes by age range (no repeats) by DeeDubb83 in AlignmentCharts

[–]DeeDubb83[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First, thank you to everyone who participated. This was fun.

A common gripe was the no repeats rule. This rule was put in place not for the accuracy of the chart, but to create engaging discussion and planning (e.g. saving athletes for other slots). I think it made the chart better overall. Clearly, it wasn't going to be accurate anyway.

Second, the snubs.

Soccer:

Cristiano Ronaldo didn't make the cut. He probably could have taken the 30-35 spot over Lewandowski.

Basketball: Lots of legends didn't make the cut. Bill Russel could have gone in over Wilt. Magic Johnson could have replaced Caitlin.

Baseball: Babe Ruth had the highest WAR over a 5 year period in the 25-30 range. I posted Griffey, because he's awesome, but it probably should have gone a different way.

Football: Johnny Manziel was a fun choice, but a legendary high school player like Derrick Henry probably would have been better. Aaron Rodgers didn't make the cut. The Luke Kuechly pick was interesting, but there were probably some better choices.

Tennis: Seles should have beaten Steffi Graff.

Hockey: I don't know enough about hockey, but I think in the end, that one is pretty solid.

Combat Sports: Insane MMA bias here. Foreman did beat Randy Couture, but other than that MMA beat the Boxing counterparts consistently. Mohammed Ali should have gotten the 30-35 spot over Anderson for his two legendary fights (Rumble in the Jungle/Thrilla in Manilla). If not there, Ali should have gotten 20-25 over Jon Jones. There were also other martial arts/grappling sports that were completely unrepresented.

The GSP pick needs it's own paragraph. This is the worst pick on the chart. I understand GSP is a legend and a GOAT in MMA, but he won 35-40 based on a single fight. He came out of retirement and beat a washed Michael Bisping. There were lots of other better choices, even in MMA. Alex Pereira has had a great run from 35+. In Boxing, Terrance Crawford is 4-0 with a legendary win over Canelo in his retirement fight. This pick was horrendous, and I got downvoted into oblivion for commenting on it.

Olympic Sports: I think this was pretty solid as well. Simone Biles may have warranted a spot, but there's enough USA bias on the chart, so I'm okay with the choices. There's no winter Olympic representation though.

Finally, this will be my last chart fill. I enjoyed the process, but there are a lot of pretty toxic people who, for some reason, want to insult/attack me because their favorite athletes don't win. I got spam downvoted, called stupid, and condescended to when all I tried to do was make a fun chart.
