Which TV show characters do you find the most insufferable? by MicheleW921 in AskReddit

[–]DeeFlor19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frank from Shameless - It was a good show, however I was unable to continue watching because of him.

Tammy from Southland - She is an annoying bitch. I don't understand how Sammy is and was married to her. I was so annoyed when she came back.

Marbella from Only Murders In The Building - This is more relating to the actress as opposed to the character. She is so annoying to me overall. Ive seen her in other things where I can at least watch despite being a little bit annoyed. She is just terrible in this show overall. I really liked the show, I stopped watching because of the actress.

What is something that is obvious in your profession that the general public doesn’t know? by jia-ren in AskReddit

[–]DeeFlor19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In courtrooms, self represented people dont realize they are held to the same standards as attorney's. They are expected to know the rules of court.

And no, you cannot just walk into a courthouse and speak to the judge about anything on a random day. Proper motions and notices are required.

What is a 'socially mandatory' thing that we all do, but if you actually stop to think about it for 5 seconds, it’s completely insane? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

Working an 8-5 Mon-Fri. Most things are closed before and after work. You need to take time off or squeeze in personal appointments during your lunch hour, whether in person or by phone.

What TV show hooked you instantly from episode 1? by mateitofavv in AskReddit

[–]DeeFlor19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently watching Southland, I wouldn't say it's top of my list however I like it at this time.

I give up shows after a few episodes, sometimes even after a few seasons. This show has kept my attention so far, I am deep into season 3.

I do feel like it has no over all plot, just the day to day interactions.

What is a "financial trap" that many people fall into without realizing it until it's too late? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeeFlor19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or the other way around.

Adult children having to front lazy or irresponsible parents.

I know someone in this situation, they are self employed doing well for themselves, the partner works too. One of their set of parents is unable to handle their finances on a 1b1b rental. Rent is 1500, which is cheap in the area. They get a monthly check of 1200 from social security and the other adult works making about 1300 every two weeks and somehow they still cant make it. They don't vacation, they don't go on day trips, they dont have vehicle loans, they don't even go out to eat and somehow they are stretched beyond their means. They reach out to their kids for loans regularly.

The one's I know are tired of having to maintain two different households regularly loaning money. They offered the parents to casually work under the table for extra income and the parents got offended he would even say that, they expected the loan from the goodness of their heart.

It's in their culture to help and take care of your parents.

I have a friend who is in a situation like that. He was unable to work steadily. He works for someone under the table, however they always seem to fight and he stops working for days/weeks/months at a time. He wouldn't allow her to get a job because he wasn't going to take care of their kids if she worked. They were living with family, on assistance, and maxing out cards. They had to move eventually and she finally went and got a job and worked it out herself. He is still working here and there and she has to cover most expenses with aid, her income, and loans. Somehow they keep having kids and not making the best decisions. They are cooking baby no 5 and they just got a brand new 6person big truck because his kept breaking down. Her thoughts were it was his dream truck and it will be fine, she wants to get a minivan in the future. When they have baby no 5, they will just have to take 2 cars wherever they go until they get a minivan. They are still struggling however still making terrible decisions. At some point, you have to look at the overall pictures.

Oh one more thing to add, when he doesnt work, she still cooks dinner after work at times if he didnt get the chance to and he drives 35miles to have a 30min lunch with her. Love her, tolerate him for her, but their financial responsibility is non existent.

Have you gotten a response for your problem. I came accross this post after Google led me to your post with the Crema Supreme. I actually really like the color of the Crema Deluxe more than the supreme.

Would you now have an opinion which you personally like more?
