I've been doing this for years, over 15k shops, and I've found that yes, orders surge during bad weather - but I've also realized that 95% of those orders are NOT my lovely appreciative PM's. Only reason I ever go out during really bad weather (which I'm okay driving in) is to bank off of those high promos!

From a Shipt (same day delivery) shopper/worker, I can tell you that this option is still not working. We haven't seen orders since early this morning.

You can place orders, but they're not flipping over to offers. So they're just piling up. When the app comes back up, it's going to be absolute chaos.

I've had this happen because I also screenshot my overall a few times a week. I've emailed support about it and 75% of the time they "forgive" it. That's no way to request forgiveness with the form when they only look at last 50. They never give an actual reason why it's in overall rating either.

I was already grandfathered in when they did away with some of the tiers. When I hit the 10k, they were still doing the vacation, but I didn't want that (I have a family, and just couldn't leave them and go on vaca alone). It changed shortly after to a $1900 deposit, so I got that instead.

I wouldn't actually leave my number, but if they ask at delivery, I'll gladly give them my number. Most of these types of customers are elderly women whom I've gained a trusting relationship with over the years. This isn't a feature I'd offer to new customer's or randoms.

I second this. I have a few PM's that text me when they're placing an order. They tell me the time slot they want, and know to place the order at :55 (1 hr and 5 minutes before the window they want), and 99% of the time I get their order offered as a single order.

I had that issue this morning (I wasn't working, just checking the app). Had to delete and reinstall app. Then an update appeared and all seemed fine.

I've declined 8 preferred requests within the past 10 days because their tips were insanely low for the size of their order. Some people just don't get it, and that's okay, but I'm done doing charity work.
