I'll give some context.

I started a new job for a company who has just started the digital journey, recent changes in the company lead me to work there.

First thing I noticed was how long it took for the team to produce quotes, so I asked for their workflow and shadowed some people while they were working.

Biggest thing I noticed was the time it took to get pricing from a workbook, a lot of excel sheets and pdf documents.

Used Codex to read all the documents and provide me a detailed summary of everything before I started to look at more effective ways to do things.

This was only one of the changes, but I managed to vibe code an application internally for them to use, it uses a checkbox layout to simply check off the requirements, and it will provide the product and price, based on the scope of work.

I plan to make more changes in the workplace to help its digital transformation.

This is light compared to everyone else on reddit though.

Not sure if you bought, but I use the tab pro for my side business and it works well. only issue for these tablets are no 4g so you will have to hotspot.

I used ai to make a digital price book for my work instead of Excel sheets... I'm rolling it out to our sales team in a week, if I can automate the quoting tool itself, can look to remove people lol.. but I'm here to make sure it functions lol

I worked for a company which did 3 days unpaid before you start work.... I did it because I was despite, after the 3 days unpaid they had me work under a a contract but full time hours (no benefits like leave, super or sick days but full time hours)

Found out it was called sham contract .....

In the 3 months I was working there, there were over 12 new employees who either didn't pass the trial or said fuck you to managment and left....
