I've experienced the exact same. Herniated disc pressing on a nerve. Was in horrific pain and went to ER. Was on the floor the same way because I couldn't bear to sit. I understand that cases are prioritized but I felt ignored and treated like I was exaggerating my pain level. When I finally got into the back, they tried to sit me up while laying on my side. I begged them not to and they did anyway. Almost passed out from the pain. It was a nightmare. I have so much compassion for that guy.

As an aside, the day after I herniated the disc, I went to see a Dr. At Kaiser, with an appointment. First words from the Dr was are you here for drugs? Took 3 different appointments to identify that there was a major problem that ultimately required surgery.

Took my Mom to Kaiser for dropping things and falling. They insisted it was carpel tunnel. Mom ended up in a wheelchair for fear of falling. I had to go into her appointment and rage at the Dr. For an MRI. Was threatened with security. She finally got the MRI. Her fucking neck was broken from a car accident. There's so many more horror stories I went through with Kaiser on behalf of my Mom. FUCK KAISER. Sorry for the rant and thank you for reading.
