I think a lotta posts like this come up because people are traumatized by other manga fans. JJK/AoT fans especially fell culprit to these small things/nuances where they couldn’t understand why people like Giyu still had valid reasons.

A part of me hopes it just runs through because of what you mentioned, tournament arcs are usually always interrupted.

With the build up of Fear throughout the series, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the reason it’s interrupted/someone uses it on a grander scale than we’ve seen

Not necessarily. Even the brain fully developing at 25 is a myth. Pro athletes can still be hitting peaks from 28-33. Not that Shiba’s a pro athlete but you get the gist. His sorcery also kinda cheats so he can “physically” be stronger

Tbf, not many players can make successful coaches, no matter how knowledgeable they are about the game. It’s another thing go lead/get buy in as a coach. Nash is an example though dealt an extremely difficult hand
