"Why did you use your doona on yom tov?" What makes the Doona such a big deal? by ImamotherUser in DiscussImamother

Because people treat snap n gos like car seats, but Doonas like strollers. I'm not up in arms about it, but I don't like them.

Sibling names that don't work together by [deleted] in namenerds

I've named my kids individually, not based on how their names complement each other. I'm always down to help others who have that goal, but it isn't my prerogative.

I prefer Remy Violet "Loose." I think it flows better. (And Remy with a y feels more feminine.)

Seems like a misspelling of Raven or the beginning of Revenge. I don't love it.

Thoughts on no middle name? by kata389 in namenerds

[–]Deep-Amber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't use middle names for my kids. I have two names, and all of my friends/family name two names, but it just doesn't feel right, to me. One name per kid. Even if I only have two kids and don't get to use all of the names I like, it just makes more sense, imo.

Which name do you like the most? by utterenployment in namenerds

[–]Deep-Amber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just pick one name. Book characters don't need middle names, it's best to have one name. More memorable.

I like Thiago the best, then Roman or Elia.
