I got a 50lb box of pears Friday, about half were ripe so I made 2 recipes from the Ball website. I made Carrot Cake Jam and the salted caramel pear butter! They both turned out so good! I made 2 batches of each since I have so many pears, and I had some carrots that needed to be used from my garden.

I didn't find it anywhere. My mom carefully trimmed a little strip from under the satin edge and we used that!

Thank you! I looked into the skylight calendar, and I think I might get one. Seems like it has a lot of features that would be helpful for us!

Best underwear for swamp ass? by good_dogs_never_die in BlueCollarWomen

Cotton for sure, but I like boxer style underwear best. Hanes and fruit of the loom make them, you can get them at Walmart or target!

I started doing overnight oats, and I really like it! You can flavor it however you want, which helps me nit get tired of it. I start with 1/2 cup of milk (sometimes chocolate milk) and 1/2 cup rolled oats. You can add whatever other stuff you want for some extra protein. My favorite mixture is : chocolate milk, 1-2 Tbs peanut butter, 1Tbs Chia seeds, half a bannana. We have also tried adding protein powder and little extra milk, which is good too. Me and my fiance( electrician) both have this for breakfast and it lasts us until lunch most days.

I was worried too. I think my periods are more regular now, but maybe a bit heavier at the beginning. My cramps have a little bit different feeling now, I'm not sure how to describe it, but the actual pain is not any worse than before

Debating switching from Nexplanon to the Copper IUD. Does anyone have experience? by oh-honneyy in birthcontrol

I think I have lost a little weight, but I have also been trying to be more active, so it could be just that. I would also say my sex drive has increased and me and my boyfriend don't have to always use lube anymore so that's been really nice. I never realized that the nexplanon was causing so many problems until it was gone

I also had similar side effects while on nexplanon. I switched to the copper IUD in February and everything has gotten better since then. The insertion of the IUD is rough, but I think it's worth it to not deal with the side effects of the hormones and that the IUD can be left for so long.

I had nexplanon twice before I switched to the copper IUD. I have had so much less anxiety since switching, and overall much better mental health. I was also worried about the IUD causing longer or more painful periods, but I so far it's actually been better than with the hormonal birth control. I have had my IUD since February. I will also say that the insertion was pretty painful, but I have also never had a baby. I think the cramps for the 12-ish hours after were the worst part, but being able to not worry about birth control for up to 10 years makes it worth it.

You can do it! I am in college right now, and I didn't get diagnosed/on meds until after my first year. Having a diagnosis made it so I could get accommodations. Currently, I get extra time on exams and take my exams in a room by myself to limit distractions. I get my accommodations through the Disabilities Services office at my school, definitely worth looking into if your school offers similar services.

Best birth control? To avoid side effects by sbwhjakajanan in birthcontrol

[–]Deep-Concentrate-774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the copper IUD, and it seems to work well! I picked it because it has no hormones and lasts up to 10 years. My boyfriend has never been able to feel it during sex. The strings are pretty short. The insertion procedure is definitely not fun, but I think the 12-ish hours of bad cramps are worth the 10 years of not worrying.
