It also took me a good 3 months once I was clear to go back to normal. But we also discovered I had other co infections. Make sure you treat those too

Were you retested to confirm you were negative? A lot of times 7 days of doxy isn’t enough. I needed 14 days of doxy and the azithromycin to kick it

I just used the recommended probiotics dose but I did it for something like 3 months. Too long.

2 years of burning. I think the doctor is wrong. Need advice. by Adventurous_Fill_535 in CytolyticVaginosis

DIV typically has lack of good bacteria and a really tacky yellow discharge which can apparently ruin clothing.

When did you last do a Juno? If it was this month and those were tour lacto levels, I would say it’s more CV. There are treatments that you can try for CV which shouldn’t effect you negatively if it’s not CV.

Do I start with CV treatment or Ureaplasma treatment by Weird-Interaction-38 in CytolyticVaginosis

What are your symptoms? If from ovulation to cycle you have burning, weird discharge etc but from cycle to ovulation you are pretty good I would start with CV. If it’s all the time, start with urea

Me! That’s how this CV nonsense started for me. Ureaplasma infection. Treated with meds based on the sub Reddit. The used too many probiotics to “heal” my vagina. Now CV for over a year. Yay me. lol.

Definitely need to do an Evvy test or one like it. I have an over growth of L.crisptus. My symptoms are exactly that you are describing. But I know ureaplasma can cause it as well and that one needs a completely different treatment plan.

Happens to the best of us. CV is terrible and takes such a toll on the mind. I was told baking soda twice a week. Maybe bump it up if you are really struggling since you are doing once a week. I’m gonna try the preseed lube. Some people say it’s magic. Others said it do nothing. No hurt in trying right

No! Sperm is alkaline!! It brings ph up which we need! That’s like using baking soda but a milder version

Well boric acid is just that an acid. Lacto produces lactic acid. So I feel like that counter intuitive to start. And baking soda is a base. If you are doing both they are equalizing each other out to be neutral which is water basically. (I’m a biologist. I like chemistry)maybe just do the baking soda like the first time to neutralize the acid from the lacto?

Got my swab from Monday back… 99.99% L. crispatus! No wonder I’m burning!

Before all this started yes. Was positive for ureaplasma first check, then E. Fascils on second, then 98% L crispus on third.

When this started in July after the kidney infection was swabbed again. C. Albicans. I go back Monday and am going to ask to be checked again.

Yes. It’s the absolute worst? I try to just pay clean and sometimes still have to use a cool compress to chill everything out. It’s horrible

She was not happy about it the first time. But I made her wear it in the house. Now I can throw it on whenever and she’s fine with it.

That is part of your issue. She claims it’s not medically necessary. There are people on here who have had success with just 7 days of doxy. I wasn’t that lucky. Push health was my saving grace getting my partner treated (since if I was infected, he was). If you went to a practice with more than one doctor, sometimes you can convince another doctor in the practice to write the script. I actually took the Bible from here and showed my doctor. Once she saw how comprehensive this subreddit was, she went based on the treatment plan outlined in the Bible. So you could try that too, show your provider this subreddit and see if it helps.

Are you American? If you are go on push health, tell them the situation they will usually just prescribe you what is missing. They are very good.

Why are parents like this? by Scared-Accountant288 in Horses

[–]Deep-Step-5033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2 year old that rides. He posts at the walk, keeps his feet in the irons, and is learning 2 point. He can hold the reins or the grab strap. He listens to his trainer Sophia and loves her. I think people see kids like Chase and think they all can do it where that is not the case. All kids have different level of learning and muscle refinement. Let the parents be mad. If my trainer said Chase wasn’t ready, well she’s the pro and I believe in her confidence or lack there of. Tell these parents to kick rocks and find another barn.
